• Everyone knows Alice.

The girl who followed a white rabbit dressed like a gentleman down a rabbit hole towards the world of Wonderland. The one that explored Wonderland and befriended the beings of the strange world. She met the polite Mad Hatter who hosted a tea party with beautiful china tea pots and teacups beyond compare as the Dormouse slept on his right within a tea pot that was actually a house with small tiny blue tea cups like a garden and the March Hare who chatted endlessly to Alice as if they were sisters.

The garden flowers came to chatter so much as she past them and she would politely sit among them while exchanging small talk before being off on her way. The Chesire Cat would gracefully float down from his tree branch and escort her towards the palace while trying to charm her with riddles to which she replied with a smile and witty answers that were just as tricky as his riddles.

The guards of the palace bowed to her as she entered the throne room where the Queen of Hearts would smile and invite her for a pleasent game of cards or just a walk among her rose garden. The White Rabbit would than appear as it was time for her to leave Wonderland once again after a wonderful day in the dream world and promise to lead her once again down the rabbit hole.

Alice was loved by them and she too loved them. Wonderland and Alice were one. Two parts that could not be separated at all like twins. There couldn't be any force in the universe that may tear Alice apart from Wonderland.

When White Rabbit returned alone from the real world to Wonderland, they all knew that something was wrong....Alice was changing. She no longer followed the White Rabbit and would return to her book of some nonsense about becoming a house wife. When she came past the Mad Hatter's tea, she would sip her tea silently and refuse to speak unless it was to state that the words coming from March Hare's mouth about dreams was nonsense. The garden flowers slowly wilted away as she picked them despite their screams of protest.

Chesire Cat's riddles were left unanswered and he was ignored. The Queen of Hearts frowned as her friend appeared before her with no smile that brightened her day, she had changed......

Alice than never returned to Wonderland. The Queen of Hearts and her subjects slowly began to notice their land begin to change after their beloved Alice left. The ground began to form pits of darkness sucking up the life from the trees of cards and the remaining talking gardens. Light turned to darkness so much it was always night and the air became toxic, "We must leave and go to the Real World," the queen spoke as her palace slowly begin to turn into dust.

So Wonderland disappeared and the subjects of its beloved land lived in the real world. The Queen of Hearts soon created a new home for them, a club that appeared at night in which they lured humans who contained a soul that saw the world around them differently and wanted an escape.

By than Alice had grown and married a man who was nothing like her beloved White Rabbit, her clever Chesire Cat, or gentle Mad Hatter. No, he was the monster that had snatched her dreams and forced her into an empty shell of black and white in which she could do nothing, but obey him. Her mind slowly turned blank and she began to turn darker like her empty eyes. Her soul begged for release and she ran. Ran away from her monster husband towards the streets that buzzed with gossip of Wonderland. White Rabbit couldn't stop her as a car blazed out from the corner and took her life.

Screams from March Hare echoed to the sky as he, Chesire Cat, and Mad Hatter run towards her limp body. "Alice! Alice! Alice! Alice!" Blood dyed her beautiful blue dress and stained her long blonde hair, but her beautiful blue eyes finally showed the emotions that her husband locked her away from, "I'm back at last....I'm sorry for taking so long, but it seems I must go away..."

The Queen of Hearts gathered the body up in her arms, "....We shall wait until you return Alice...We shall wait forever if we need so. We shall find you in the faces of each soul that enters club Wonderland....We shall wait..." Alice smiled as she touched her face, "Thank you..I will be back...."

As Alice left, her infant son cried silently as if he too knew her soul had left....
