• She looked to the window, her eyes blank and dull. No emotion showed on her face as kids made fun of her, the same kids that proclaimed were her friends.
The teacher who was with her in class looked to see her making subtle glances out the window, and asked her if she wanted to play outside.
The girl turned her head to the teacher, her moves looking as they were planned. Her answer was an emotionless ‘No, I’m waiting.’ She turned her head to look at the empty desks of her classmates. They were all surprised at her maturity, and the ones who wanted to be her friends were replied with a blank stare and emotionless answers. The ones she had shown emotion to were immediately pulled away from her, the other kids teasing and hatred drove them away.
The girl was different, that much the teacher could tell. She was an outcast, and she was more mature than the upper graders. Even they disliked her, heck, they were even jealous of her appearance! She had silver hair and snow blue eyes, and had a regal look for a second grader. How the girl coped with this, he did not know, and he really did want to know. The teacher looked towards the lone girl as she glanced at the window more, until she stood abruptly. Her eyes were glinting with happiness, and she dashed towards the door with a brief smile on her face. The teacher stood up and hurriedly rushed to the window, looking outside.
The girl had rushed to a man and woman in a red car. Two children were with them, and the girl jumped into the man’s arms, snuggling into his embrace. The teacher watched from inside the classroom, and the girl turned to him, mouthing out a word before disappearing into the car with her family.
The teacher looked baffled, thinking over the words the girl had mouthed out.
    ‘Police.’
And the police had shown up, arresting the supposed teacher of murder and identity fraud. The ‘teacher’ was enraged that a young girl had known! Before he wondered in blind rage how she knew. Oh, the council would love to hear this…just as soon as he got rid of these pesky police.
