• "Alright, so...you're saying this Fury punk can take care of my problem?" my enemy and one of the last competitors of mine, Rigo Cole, said without much concern for respect of my old friend. It was rather irritating, but what was the leader of the newly made most powerful organization in the world to do? Cole knew what kind of person I was; that's why he didn't show me any respect either. Ever since this old friend along with another, they boosted my organization to the top of the chain. It was because of those two, a Fury male and a half-vampire female, that I became the head of the biggest power in the world.
    Area Zero.
It was because of them my dream came true.
"What I'm saying is...that he's more than adequate for your little problem." I didn't even try to hide the disdain I held for him in my voice. He was stepping on my toes, and so I will stomp on his fingers. And I was wearing pumps.
"This isn't some small problem that can just be resolved with one Kill. If that was the case then I'd get an assassin from the phonebook. I came to you since your company specializes in breeding soldiers, mercenaries, et cetera, et cetera, but I was expecting you to refer to that so-called top agent of yours. What's his name? Dickamo?"
That smug b*****d. He knew full well who he was referring to. "Agent Zero-Six; Guile D'Amato. I advise you to watch your tongue, Cole. He's my close friend and you know it. It's not like the old days where you can talk to me like your equal anymore. I'm demanding your respect. Remember, I don't have to help you."
"Oh yeah? Well then you can try to transport your soldiers on your own then. Face it, even if you're at the top you can't do a damn thing without us. You need my transport services, and you need Dorian's technology. At one point the three of us were the big bosses, but your bold move to Constantine mucked everything up. Of course we had to keep competing with you so Dorian and I made the move too. You just got lucky running into that half-breed blood sucker and that...crazy...whatever the ******** he was. The Hunter girl and Killer boy really made it easy for you. I just wish I could have gotten my hands on them first...
"Anyways, even if Cole Works and Biodyne are beneath you, me and Dorian are still strong enough to impact you badly, so the respect stays the same, dear Isis. So, what's it gonna be? Help me? Or let your ego get in the way and lead to your ruin?"
He had me. Dorian Black, head of Biodyne, was the biggest runner in technology and medicine. They developed new weapons and gadgetry that my people used in their survival training, and most of them agreed that if it weren't for Biodyne not many of them would be alive. Also, Cole Works controlled imports and exports. They had planes, boats, protected trucks; everything. It has been a triangle relationship for years. I provided protection with the bodyguards and soldiers my organization trains, and in turn I get technology and transportation. Cole also gets technology from Biodyne when he ships out weapons and other things for Biodyne illegally. We all give and take from each other's specialties. If I broke the chain now...
It wasn't the time to do it.
"Fine..." I sighed. It was painful to admit, but I still needed them. Area Zero was the biggest company in the world right now, but I still needed their services. "He goes by the title Lobo de la Muerte. It's from an old language called spanish. It means the Wolf of the Dead. He's unlike any warrior I've ever seen before, and I've seen billions over my years. The Furies...I do remember them being a people of war. But this one...it's like he can fight them by himself. I've seen very few that can, but he's definitely one of them. I'm sure whatever your problem is, he can handle it."
He looked to the side as if he wasn't impressed. "Well, you'll forgive me if I don't explain to you what exactly the problem is but I don't want you to get the upper hand on me. Anyways, I don't remember ever hearing about Lobo. Does he go by another name? Maybe one I've heard?"
I nodded slowly, placing my elbows on my desk and lacing my fingers together. "Everyone knows him as Killer 13."
His eyes shot wide open. One of his men standing next to him almost jumped backwards. "Holy s**t...that guy? Boss last time he–"
"I know. Shut up." Cole raised his hand up to silence him. I knew he was referring to the time Lobo cut through all his forces to get one of my agents back before she was shipped as a sex slave across seas. I've hated Cole as much as a person can hate anything ever since then, but Lobo instantly became family when he brought her back. I almost felt like I was betraying him, referring him to this b*****d.
"Alright...I see..." he began to nod his head, a greasy smirk spread wide across his lips. "I had a feeling he wouldn't stick around with you. So where can I find him?"
I almost regretted listening to him instantly...but a favor this big from Cole was a huge leap to securing my position at the top. Whatever his problem was, it had him so spooked he offered a wide scale transport to send my soldiers to any country willing to pay up. Before I had to only do it ship by ship on ocean. Now...this would really put Area Zero on the map.
    I'm sorry, Lobo...
"Alihagos," I answered. "The deserts of Alihagos. I don't know exactly where, but he said he needed to be alone. The kind of Killing that man did...it took a toll on him. Even if he's a Killer, he's still a person."
I can't imagine what kind of stress he went through. A Killer Kills, but he took it to a new extreme. I offered him a place to live here at the headquarters, but he refused. He looked empty. The boy who wanted to become the strongest Killer looked no more than a shell of a man now. But maybe this could help him.
"Alright, I'm sure I can find him with just that info alone. Thanks, dear Isis," Cole said, standing up from his seat and putting on his dinner jacket. "I'll let you know how he's doing. I'm sure I can help him out too..."
    Lobo...forgive me...
