• Love Story on the Front Line

“Hey Lt. Col. Arthur, what are we looking for again?” I asked, and Lt. Col. Arthur answered, “What do you think we are looking for sir?” “Not a clue” I responded, and Arthur asked, “Hey sir, if you had to describe Clp. Kagome what would you say?” I told him, “O.K., She is 5ft. 10in. tall, her hair color is black, she is 15 years old, she always wears this cute skirt, along with the shirt that matches the skirt, she wears this Green and white bandana around her neck and her eye color is blue.” “Nice.” He responded, when suddenly, “AHHHHHHHHHAAA!” Clp. Kagome screamed when she walked into the room where me and Arthur were at, and only then did we notice we were in the wrong room, we thought we were inspecting Clp. Arriana’s room, and Kagome forgot room inspection was today. “GET OUT!” she yelled, but I fired back “You DO NOT tell your Colonel what to do and also it is inspection day, remember that?” Lt. Col. Arthur, (who was with me) ran out on me, yet I stood tall with my hand on my 45 revolver, and as I was standing my ground she suddenly walked right up to me and kissed me, SHE KISSED ME!
“What was that for?” I asked her, A little dazed at that point, she said “Two reasons 1) I’m sorry for yelling at you and 2) is that I Love you!” I went silent until Lt. Col. Arthur called me to meet him at the lighthouse as soon as possible, I told Kagome I will talk to her later. However, when I returned to The Ocean View Hotel I was not alone and this is that part of the story.
“Okay, what is so important that you called me to come over here?” I yelled to Lt. Col. Arthur when suddenly, I saw an old friend next to him, it was Lt. Horatio Caine dressed in his suit that he always wear and I yelled to Arthur “So, this is why you called me, huh?” but before Arthur could answer me, I heard crying. I followed the sound, it led me to the rocks, I saw a little girl hiding between the rocks, and I screamed to Arthur and Horatio “You guys need to get over here now!” When they got to my position, they were as shocked as I was, and this girl was determined not to leave anything behind, and she only gave up when I told her I would bring back what she did not want to leave (Yet I forgot to). I asked the little girl what was her name and she said “Miszuti” so I told her that we would get her home safely and as soon as possible when she said, “I don’t have a place to go home to, that’s why I was hiding in the rocks for sir.” I told her my name and rank and she said, “So you are the man who saved the hostages three months ago?” I told her I was and she got so excited that she met a true hero, and when she learned that she was coming to our HQ, The Ocean View Hotel, yet she got mad when I told Private Renie of second squad to take of her while everyone else prepares for an invasion. Yet I had other plans and I had to do something else before evening comes along at that time.
“Hey, where is the supply drop at again?” Sgt. Nestor asked around, even though he knew where it was, he just did not like to go alone, and so first platoon of Easy Co. went along to the supply drop. By the time we arrived, the rest of the company was already there waiting for the supplies to be passed out when suddenly, gunshots were heard and everyone was scrabbling to take cover. Then I noticed something was wrong, Horatio Caine was face-down in a pool of blood and then it hit me, he had been shot, at that moment I immediately screamed, “Medic! Medic! Where’s the Medic!” yet no medic came to help, and on that day I thought I lost a good friend. “Damn it!” Delko was angry when he heard the news about Horatio’s death, and he wanted to avenge his death, so did Easy Company and I, but I had bigger problems to deal with. By the time I got back to the hotel, it was late and everyone was asleep so I went to bed, not knowing if the invasion would be tomorrow or not.
Promotions are in, so some people’s rank will be changed.
When I woked up the next morning I had one hell of a surprise, it was Sgt. Kagome lying right next to me in my bed! I yelled “WHAT THE HELL KAGOME?” She started to cry and I told her I was sorry “That’s not why I’m crying sir” she had something important to tell me and what she said brought my hopes up, “Horatio alive, Lt. Horatio Caine is alive!!”. Then I noticed that she was wet, she told me it was because there was a shootout last night and she was too tired to change and she forgot about it until I told her, but she decided to change right in front of me! Apparently, she did not care about changing in front of me, but then I just ran out at that point because the air raid siren went off and fighters had to take off to attack the enemy forces that were approaching Vice City. However, when Lt. Col. Arthur and I were coming back, Arthur shouted over the radio the words I never wanted to hear “OH MY GOD, ITS ENEMY LANDING CRAFT COLONEL!” These words brought dread to the men when they heard them, “Sir, is this the beginning of the end for us sir?” C.J. asked me “I don’t know C.J., I don’t know.” I told him.
“Armando, sir, you have a letter from the General!” Capt. Eric notified me, and when I read it was disheartening to me on what it said was not good news to the men or anyone, “To Whom It May Concern:
Colonel Armando A. Becerra, the situation that you are in is critical, you must pull out of Vice City now or you will be surrounded with no way to escape to Liberty City, if you do not abandon Vice City now you and your men will die in Vice City, you must leave now!
    Cordially, General Jack Dawson.”
I replied with the following response to the General:
    “In regards to:
General Jack Dawson, I shall never surrender or retreat after San Andreas, and by the time you receive this letter, my men and I shall have won The Siege of Vice City no matter what the cost! Yours truly, Colonel Armando A. Becerra
    VICTORY OR DEATH!”
I sent that letter, but before I did, I read it to the men and they all agreed that we could win this fight. “Now we are in trouble sir.” 1st Sgt. Nestor explained to me that the enemy has prepared for this invasion for a long time, all the way back to when we arrived three months ago, “Wow, that is a long time don’t you think?” I asked my men, and they all agreed.
Promotions are in again and some of the men‘s rank changed again, so please bear with me.“Ahha ha! I know how we can sink the landing craft sir.” Sgt. Marcos mentioned, “The landing craft could be sunk by shooting a hole straight through the bottom of it large enough to sink the whole thing with one shot, so you would need a 105mm Howitzer to do the job Colonel.” I thanked him by saying, “Thank you Sergeant Marcos for this information will be priceless when the invasion comes for we will have 150 105mm Howitzers to protect the shoreline.” Then he added, “Oh yea, I almost forgot to tell you that Stephen Weinberger has 1st Sgt. Nestor’s patrol surrounded at the U.S. Air Force Base, and they need to be rescued, again.” “Can’t that 1st sergeant ever stay out of trouble Sergeant Marcos?” I told him and he started to laugh at it because he did not know he was going too. “ Why do I have to go sir?” Pfc. Anthony complained when I gathered the men of second squad of the first Platoon since the first squad needed to be rescued from the air base.
The men of 2nd squad 1st Platoon are (Surprise, Surprise!): Pvt. Renie, Lt. David Cortez, Sgt. Kagome, Pfc. Anthony, Sgt. Nathon, Pfc. Sydney Forté, Sgt. Edger, Pvt. Polensky, Sgt. Rowbuck, Pvt. Miller, Lt. Sullivan, and untill now the 2nd squad was short one man and now introducing #12 Pfc. Miszuti. “WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING COMING WITH US?” Lt. Sullivan yelled out over everyone so loudly everybody stopped talking at that moment, and I answered with the following: “Because I SAID SO, that’s why Lt. Sullivan! Now, who else wants to make me mad? If not, let’s continue.” I briefed the men and told them that this would be simple; we rescue first Sgt. Nestor’s patrol from the evil Stephen Weinberger and his men (DRAMATIC MUSIC!).
“MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY. THIS IS FIRST SERGEANT NESTOR AQUINO OF THE FIRST SQUAD OF THE FIRST PLATOON OF EASY COMPANY; I NEED ASSISTANTANCE AT THE U.S. AIR FORCE BASE. REPEAT: NEED ASSISTANTANCE AT THE U.S. AIR FORCE BASE NOW!” This desperate radio message came in at 10:32 pm at the same time second squad deployed along with the third squad of first Platoon. The third squad consisted of Major Onno Rademaker, Lt. Johnlee Requejo, Sgt. Patrick Romero, Clp. Angelito Salas, Lt. Manuel Molina, Pfc. Mario Gomez, Sgt. Matthew Jones, Clp. Morella Ibarra, Sgt. Cesar Ochoa, Clp. Eric Vazquez, Pfc. Taylor Wooten, and Pvt. Joshua Wilson. “Now we need to hurry to the attack launch zone. We are going to be accompanied by M-4 Shermans and maybe if we are lucky, 2 Apache Helicopters to cover us until they run out of ammo and leave, don’t worry because the 2nd Platoon will be coming to help if anything goes awry during the attack on Stephen Weinberger.” I ordered the men that this attack would be Stephen Weinberger’s last.
“THIS IS COLONEL ARMANDO ANTHONY BECERRA OF EASY COMPANY. FIRST SERGEANT NESTOR AQUINO NEEDS NOT TO WORRY ANYMORE, EASY COMPANY IS COMING!” I announced over the loud speaker as we approached the U.S. Air Force Base that 1st Sgt. Nestor was trapped at with an advantage, he had a Hunter Attack Helicopter in the Base, and luck was not with Stephen Weinberger. The first thing that happened to him was that my fighters were coming back from air patrol and immediately strafed his position showing that things would get worse later on. The second thing that happens to him was that I got word of the attack on 1st Sgt. Nestor’s patrol from Sgt. Marcos, and I received a radio message from 1st Sgt. Nestor’s patrol (which is the first squad). These three things conspired against him as the second and third squads were coming to the rescue the first squad. However, things did not go as plan for us. As we approached 1st Sgt. Nestor’s location, the second Platoon came under attack. “OH MY GOD!” Major Felix Alison yelled out when his Platoon was attacked (I never gave him the order to attack.) Then a message came over the radio, “YOU WILL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!” I immediately called 1st Sgt. Nestor telling him he was attacking friendly units. As we entered the air force base, the first face I saw was 1st Lt. Fernanda and she was grateful to see me, and so was the rest of the first squad.
Later I found out how grateful Fernanda was. Since it was the middle of summer almost three days till my birthday: July 15, 2009(The year I was born in was 1995) and her gift? Well, I had to find it and I did when I found Fernanda with her friends playing on this three-foot high wave breaker with a grove of trees and an unfinished construction zone on the topside. However, as I came closer to them Fernanda ran up the wave breaker (which is at a steep angle.) Her friends tried to follow but they could not get up the steep hill, but then I got a running start (even though I am heavier than I should be.) I made it up the steep angle and chased after Fernanda into the grove of trees, I found her writing in her diary. I started her when I asked, “What are you doing?” she tried to hide what she was doing so I could just think I was seeing things again, but it was too late for that. I saw part of what she was writing and it was about me! I was wondering what it was until I walked into the Ocean View Hotel and the next thing I know everyone yells “SURPRISE!” I was shocked that I forgot my birthday was today! “Why is it that I always forget that we are surrounded?” Sgt.Edger Hansen told me as inspections of the beach defenses that were placed from low tide to high tide making sure that landing craft cannot land on the beach. “Have you seen my Thomsen?” Lt. Col. Arthur asked around when I told him “All weapons are being cleaned today remember?” Then this was heard over the intercom: “A Shipment just arrived and it needs to be inspected before it’s passed out to the men… HEY YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HERE! BACK OFF, DO NOT MAKE ME SHOOT! DO NOT MAKE ME! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME (Gunfire)!” Then I screamed, “MOVE OUT, NOW!” Yet we were too late, by the time the First Platoon of Easy Company got there, all that was left was casings for a Colt .45 and a pool of blood and Horatio said, “Looks like it’s my turn to find 1st Lt.Fernanda.” “I guess it is, even though I don’t remember the first time this happened.” I answered him quickly and then the battle stations sirens went off as landing craft started to come in and that’s when our prepositioned 105mm Howitzers came into play, blasting a hole in each one and sending it to the bottom of the sea faster than they could be launched, and that’s when the landing craft stopped coming. As I wondered what just happened here it comes to me to look at the time and it was 8:30 pm, the time men went off duty to rest. “How did they know to attack now?” I asked myself constantly until a phone call came for me, and on the other end was First Lt. Fernanda and at that moment I got the call tracked and found the location of the call, Liberty city. So what was I to do? I asked General Jack Dawson for the help that I so desperately needed to find my one and only first lieutenant and this is the letter:
    “To Whom It May Concern:
General Jack Dawson, I need your help in order to find and bring home First Lieutenant Fernanda Agurdo in order to continue operations in Vice city or I have to abandon every mission I have planed in order just to look for her. Oh yea, she has been seen in Liberty city. Respectfully yours,
Colonel Armando Anthony Becerra the Third”
Later that day I wrote in my log this: “I miss fernanda, if only she was here right now so I can tell her how I feel right now.” The next day I received a letter from the General and his answer was yes, even thought he was still mad at me for refusing to leave Vice city, he told me that I had made a good choice because it turns out we no longer have Liberty City that’s why my 1st lieutenant was taken there, but why her? Someone has to have a reason why they kidnapped her and NOT me. I guess I just needed a CSI’s help for this problem; my friend Lt. Horatio Caine can help with that problem, but that had to wait as I, and Easy Company search for First Lieutenant Fernanda Agurdo in Vice City. The time is 0600 Hours in the morning as my air squadron ‘Valiant Lancers’ are preparing for an Air Patrol six miles off the coast in order to check the underwater minefield that protects the coast after the surprise attack on Vice city just a few days ago. It was a good thing because as we (Me, Lt. Col. Authur, 1st Sgt. Nestor, and seven others who didn’t want their names mentioned yet will; Lt. Johnlee Requejo, Lt. Manuel Molina, Pfc. Anthony, Sgt. Nathon, Sgt. Cesar Ochoa, Pvt. Miller, and C.J.) flew over the minefield I saw survivors of a unidentified ship, so what do I do? I ordered Blackhawk helicopters to come in to pluck the survivors from the water and as it happened, I saw some familiar faces and one was very familiar, Grace Salter was among the survivors of the Submarine named the ‘Walrus’. The skipper of the sub was a surprise to me, a corporal I did not know, yet he knew me well, like if we were at the same submariner school! Then it hit me, what if they (the kidnappers) came by means of a submarine? Then Lt. Horatio Caine interrupted me by saying, “Colonel Armando, your First Lieutenant’s kidnappers came by means of a submarine into the boat dock and took her so fast that she only was able to fire off one clip of ammo before they got her. Yet she did draw first blood against them and one of the kidnapper’s names is…uh… actually, you should just take a look at it yourself.” As I read over the blood test results, I was shocked when the thought came to me; the name was the same as the submarine captain’s name was…I am not going to say it with Lt. Col. Authur and all of Easy Company staring down my neck! I decided to read it later, so I stuck it into my jump vest and left for an air patrol. Now I was on patrol in my new P-51F Mustang (with five 50-millimeter cannons, four 50 calibers machineguns, and two chain guns adding up to a menacing array of firepower for anyone coming head-on at me) the squadron came across a transport ship and we immediately attacked the transport ship, and only then did I realized that we were attacking a Q-ship! I screamed over the radio, “IT’S A Q-SHIP! PULL UP, PULL UP NOW!” Everyone followed my order, barely made it up before the water came up in our faces, and then, BOOM! Waterspout from the Q-ship’s main guns, almost wiping out the squadron in one shot with its 80 cm rifle. Yet, the Q-ship was in trouble as our one battleship came out to attack the lone Q-ship as we headed back to land and that’s when General Jack Dawson was waiting for me at the airport with a surprise, First Lieutenant Fernanda Agurdo was back (even though I said for her to rest for a day, yet she didn’t listen). Later, when I did decided to read the blood test, I didn’t see 1st Lt. Fernanda walking up to me and when I did, it was too late to hide the test results in my jump vest and she saw the name on it: Corporeal Saskae Uciha! The captain of the submarine ‘Walrus’!! “OH MY GOD!” 1st Lt. Fernanda screamed so loudly I swear you could hear her at six-mile minefield. That was the first time I have ever seen Easy Company move out enmass to find a man, yet no one knew how he looked. Good thing his photo came up when his name came up in the blood test results, now the men now know what this corporal looked likes and that is when I received a message from an Admiral Sig Hansen saying; “Colonel Armando Anthony Becerra the Third, you are a faithful Colonel, yet you stand no chance against my mighty navy!” General Jack Dawson was still there so I ran the message to him, “bad news… we will lose.” He said. “Colonel, we have just received reinforcements consisting of two airborne companies from the 101st airborne division, and 4 marine divisions’ sir!” Capt. Eric announced to me and that is when I rushed to the airport to see for myself and he was right, and standing in front of them was Lt. Horatio Caine and General Jack Dawson, then Jack said, “There are under your command Colonel Armando.” That is when I knew we would win now and then I said to the General this, “You should make sure the men are trained for my operation (named ‘Ace of Spades’), while my men patrolled the coastline.” He was mad, but then I said that it might be a smart idea to do that because they might need a refresher course on this kind of operation and he agreed.
“Sir, what are you doing?” Sgt. Edger asked me as I looked through my high-powered binoculars in my hotel room when I noticed Sgt. Kagome was fiddling with something on her finger and as I magnified the view, I could tell it was a diamond ring! I told Sgt. Edger as soon as I notice what it was and he got excited about it. “What do you mean? Let me see, LET ME SEE!” Tommy Vercetti said when he burst into the room where Sgt. Edger and I were at, so I handed him the binoculars and he looked through them and saw the same thing I did yet I did not go crazy like he did and I mean CRAZY! Therefore, I told him I would investigate this mystery as soon as I could start, yet that was not soon enough for him, and I had other things more important than trying to figure out why she has a ring, yet I pushed that aside to deal with something else and it was about the battleship; ‘U.S.S. Rimny De Blaze’. Mmm… I wonder what is wrong with the ship.
“Okay, what’s wrong with the ship?” I asked intently when I arrived at the dry dock, taking note that Sgt. Kagome was there already with General Jack Dawson who was talking (rather yelling) to the ship’s captain, “WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THE SHIP WON’T BE ABLE TO SAIL IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS!”. As that was going on I told Sgt. Kagome to get over here before something happens and as she did, “BAM!!” an explosion happened as she ran towards my position, she made it, yet Jack was nowhere to be found. “GENERAL! WHERE ARE YOU SIR?” I yelled out constantly, yet no reply from him, I yelled again, nothing, then I saw something shiny, it wasn’t my watch, and it wasn’t Sgt. Kagome’s diamond ring either, so what was it? Then I heard some one’s voice saying, “Colonel Armando, where are you? Where are you Colonel?” “I’m over here General!” he heard and then, “MEDIC!!” I never said the word, and then I looked to my left and saw Sgt. Kagome calling for a medic and then she told me to follow her, yet I did not know what happened to General Jack Dawson. As me and Kagome moved closer to the epicenter of the blast, I notice that the explosion came from below the ship’s waterline, the thickest part of the hull took the brunt of the explosion leaving black residue against the bright orange hull twelve feet from where the captain and Jack were standing at, both never knew what hit them.
“WOW! There is no way that anyone could have survived that big of an explosion.” Lt. Manual said as he walked up to the blast site of the bomb, and as he was inspecting the blast site, he heard something, “help me…please help me.” “IT’S JACK!” Sgt. Edger Yelled from the railing of the ‘Rimny De Blaze’ and the first one there after Sgt. Edger was Sgt. Kagome then I, and then a medic that followed behind me, the General was injured seriously as thought by the medic who then glanced at Kagome and me and said, “You guys need to get to the hospital NOW!” “HELL NO! WE DON’T NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!” I immediately protested to the idea of having to go, but then I remembered to ask Kagome about the ring so I agreed and I told Sgt. Kagome to call anyone she wanted and she did just that, yet it was Tommy Vercetti. That didn’t brought me any closer to solving a mystery that was already going cold on 1st Sgt. Nestor and me, and our most recent piece of evidence was that everyone except 1st Sgt. Nestor, Tommy Vercetti, and me got an invitation to this wedding. The other evidence was Sgt. Marcos’s invitation, the date it was sent out was July 30, and the wedding date was August 21, 2009.
“So who is it? Who was it?” Tommy kept saying as he paced back and forth in the waiting room so loudly I could hear him down the hall, which just got so annoying I was just about to go and punch him when I heard, “WHAT?” then he must of fell because someone said, “Tommy fell, AGAIN!” The usual from him, so I went to go see what happened. I was expecting to see him down on the floor, yet it was not him, it was Sgt. Steven, yet no one knows why he fell. Two days later, I tried to figure out two different things: 1= what caused the explosion underneath the Battleship U.S.S ‘Rimny De Blaze’, and 2= whom was Sgt. Kagome married to? As I was trying to figure it out, 1st Sgt. Nestor said “Wait, something not right here. How did a civilian airplane get in?” He immediately went off and then told me, “I’m going to go and ask Sgt. Kagome about her ring and who gave it to her.” “Okay then, just don’t kill yourself 1st Sergeant!” I told him that, and then I just said, “I’m going with too, okay with that?” I caught him off guard and then he just waited for me to get my Alpine white trench coat with my Alpine white office’s hat and followed him out the door into the cold rainy night. When we arrived at Sgt. Kagome’s apartment, we both heard screaming and then as Nestor led our two-man charge a bright flash of light, and then “BOOM!” An explosion, the shockwave blew both of us away, him into the wall, me down the stairs, it caused me to lose my glasses, yet I could see things unlike 1st Sgt. Nestor, who cannot see anything without his glasses and that is when I became worried, he was first and closest to the blast and could have been killed. As I ran back up the stairs, I prepared my brand new Thompson Sub-Machinegun with a 250 round drum of .357 magnum handgun ammunition, set it to fully automatic mode, and called for backup to get here as soon a possible and to bring a medic as well. Yet I couldn't wait for them to show, so I immediately ran into the room and screamed, “UNITED STATES AIRBORNE!” and I saw two figures moving, one diving to the floor, the other jumping up and was pulling either a sword or a long knife and swung right at me, he missed but it hit my Thompson and broke it! Yet I had to make a choice, use my Colt.45 or my own sword, which gave off a dim blue light that made it a little easier to see in the dark room when a bright light shined thought the window, yet it was constantly on, but how? My question was answered when I heard, “THIS IS THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!” I yelled back the response that would let them know I was there, “VIVA MÉXICO!” Moreover, that is how they knew I was there and they came in very carefully, and as I was clearing out the last room, I found Sgt. Kagome hiding in the bathroom, sitting against the wall, crying about something. Yet I just needed to get her out of there now, just in case there was another bomb in the apartment and to get to the hospital for 1st Sgt. Nestor as well now! Therefore, I put my once Alpine White trench coat on her and half-led, half-dragged her out of there and got her to the hospital as fast as I could go without losing control of Lt. Caine’s Hummer, and then I turned back and get 1st Sgt. Nestor and get him to the hospital as well. When I got back to the hospital on the second time, I went to check on Sgt. Kagome and the first person I saw was the same person that tried to kill me earlier! Moreover, as I drew my new Titanium Colt.45, Sgt. Kagome screamed at me, “STOP IT NOW COLONEL ARMANDO! HE’S MY HUSBAND!” That made me drop my Colt.45 when she finished her sentence, and then I just walked away before he could even say his name. Then I came back with Sgt. Steven and Tommy Vercetti as my backup just in case things got out of hand, and I brought a baseball bat to beat this person senseless for what he did! Now I am going to say why, the reason is that he almost killed me and 1st Sgt. Nestor Aquino and he WILL PAY DEARLY FOR HIS MISTAKE, WITH HIS LIFE! Easy company was surrounding the place to keep the cops out, General Jack Dawson was the main man on watch for the police choppers, I had a Blackhawk Helicopter on standby to get me out of there fast, and everything was ready to go. Yet, a new recruit from another unit in the 101st Airborne, Lt. Maddie Hale of Fox Company, talked me out of the stupid situation by pointing out that unless I cut his sword with my Star Saber first, I would not stand a chance, even if I used the Electromagnetic Pulse Blastwave or the Star Saber Blast! I knew what she was talking about because I have seen the competition and I did not want to fight against that, so I backed down, and waited for things to cool down for a while, a good, long while. It was very lonely while I waited, and then Sgt. Kagome found me down at my hanger, tuning up my P-51 Mustang Fleet, when she drop news on me that I never wanted to hear on the front line: She WAS PREGNANT BY 1ST SGT. NESTOR!?!?! Now, just a day later, I find out that there is a family connection between Sgt. Kagome and me! She was a cousin with the same blood type I have, type O positive! In addition, when I looked at my grandfather’s picture, there was a major similarity in her hair color, eye color, and even her ability to keep cool, all the same. Then it hits me, my grandfather must have been her father! Now there was even more news to tell, she was scared that 1st Sgt. Nestor might run, and since I never run (well, I ran once, and that was in San Andreas.) She wanted me to be there just in case Nestor runs out on her, “God, you are only 15 and you’re already pregnant on the FRONT LINE! I need to get you out of hear NOW!” I constantly kept telling her yet she refused. She kept saying, “I joined Easy Company to earn my Alpine White trench coat and my Alpine White officer’s hat sir, so I AM NOT GOING HOME SIR! Oh god, I’m sorry for yelling at you sir, I don’t know what’s gotten into me lately.” This was the second time she has ever screamed at me, and then apologized for it (that is a first she did not kiss me). She showed that she does love me, yet she does not say it when there are other people around, but when it is just her and me, she says it. Yet why? Is it because she is shy? On the other hand, is it something else?
“WHAT? I’M THE FATHER!” 1st Sgt. Nestor freaked out when I told him about Kagome’s secret, I was still shocked from when she told me her secret. Now things started turning for the worst for Nestor, which started looking like he will not be staying with Kagome, meaning I got to deal with Nestor’s mistake of sleeping with a fifteen-year-old girl by keeping the higher-ups off (with the help of General Dawson) me and 1st Sgt. Nestor backs just because of his mistake of getting her pregnant! What am I going to do… what am I going to? I know what to do now! However, I have to get General Jack Dawson’s permission first before I did this stupid stunt. “Looks like I struck gold Sgt. Nathon, because I found Sgt. Kagome’s diary!” “Read it, I’ll keep watch!” Sgt. Neal said, yet I was already picking the lock on the book and when I opened it to today, I read it, ‘Day forty-eight of combat. Dear Diary: I have fallen head over heels for my Company Commander, Colonel Armando; he seemingly cares more about me than First Sgt. Nestor Aquino does about me. I can tell that he might love me as must as I do. Oh my God, I am broken between my husband and my crush. Dear god there is no way I am going to get myself out of this problem this time! Signed Sgt. Kagome of the Second Squad of The First Platoon of Easy Company.’ “Man, you are so SCREWED!” Sgt. Marcos made his entry into the room unannounced and loud enough for everyone to hear, and that is not good for Sgt. Neal’s and my health. “RUN NEAL, RUN!” I constantly kept screaming to Sgt. Neal as bullets were flying all around us and right behind us was Sgt. Marcos, yet he was not shooting at us, he was also running as well. “Now we should be safe behind the Bradley as long as we don’t stick our heads out.” Lt. Col. Arthur had been hiding from the gunfire, now I tried to look at the shooter using a mirror, yet my mirror was shot right out of my hand! Now Sgt. Steven Esparza and Pfc. Hesus “Jesus”, both fresh from the lighthouse watch squad (The third platoon is the lighthouse watch squad). Now I had to shoot back and I used my weapon of choice: My M-1 Grand with an attached Sniper Scope to see who was shooting at us. As I looked through the scope, I saw who was shooting; it was a very pissed Lieutenant from Easy Company, a golden ring with no diamond on one finger, and as I zoomed in with the scope, I saw the name tag (well, only part of it, the part with Lt. and that’s about it.) I ducked back down behind the Bradley when a bullet ricochet right passed my head, almost killing me! “NOW I’M MAD!” Lt. Col. Arthur screamed as he grabbed my M-1 and emptied the eighteen round clip into the window, and then the shooting stopped, and we went in to see who this lieutenant was. “Great Lieutenant Colonel Arthur, you killed him! Hold on, I think Horatio can help us with this case.” This was a first, I am pissed at Arthur, and I am trying to figure out why this lieutenant was shooting at us… wait a minute! His ring has something inscribed into it; the date was August 21, 2009 and today is September 26, 2009 meaning that if I was to look at Sgt. Kagome’s ring I will find the same date; August 21, 2009! Then Horatio startled me by saying, “Colonel, looks like you found something big.” Now I called up the men to roll call, but something came up as I rushed down to Fox Company’s position: it was about Lt. Maddie Hale. Oh crap, that’s not good news.
“What’s the problem with Lieutenant Maddie Hale?” I kept yelling until I had a response from The C.O. of Fox Company: 2nd Lt. Richard E. Cunningham, a very good friend of mine who can keep his cool under pressure very well. Now he had some news for me, and it was about my little internal investigation, he knew who Sgt. Kagome’s husband was, yet I heard some one screaming for a medic. I ran so fast that no one could keep up with me, and when I got to where I heard the word ‘Medic’, I didn’t feel like I was out of breath (as I usually do when I run like hell.) “HELP! PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP ME?” I could not tell where the voice was coming from, but I could tell it was not Lt. Maddie, but it was the man Easy Company had been looking for yet ended the search when a man identified him as dead and gone, yet here he was screaming like a little girl. I could not stop laughing at him no matter how hard I tried! “WHAT THE HELL? HOW DID YOU GET YOUR BUTT DOWN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE YOU RETARD?” I managed to say without falling over from laughing. So what was I to do with this man? I know…let me call Tommy over here, yea he will know what to with this guy. “What is it? Wait; is this the guy you’ve been looking for Armando?” Tommy asked but then had his own question answered when he looked at the ledge and then he started to laugh as well, and as I looked to the left, here comes Clp. Arriana with the First squad following. Oh, crap! How did she find me? How did she know that I went to find Lt. Maddie? How did she figure that out? I hope Clp. Arriana did not read my log entry from the day I wrote about 1st Lt. Fernanda and liking her. I hope she did not.
“Hey Clp. Arriana! How did you find me here?” I asked nervously, hoping that she did not noticed, (Clp. Arriana could tell when some one is nervous) yet she did. Now I’m just hoping that she didn’t read my log, which she didn’t (THANK GOD FOR THAT!) Now that Operation ‘Ace of spades’ is on course once more, I go back and try to figure out who the hell tried to sabotage the ‘Rimny De Blaze’ when it was designed to survive a direct hit from a Mark 48 Torpedo (Which is designed to break the keel of a ship.). So what is the reason of the attempted sabotage on the one Battleship that we have? Dammit! If only Lt. Col. Arthur didn’t kill that Lieutenant that I think is Sgt. Kagome’s husband, then he might have told us…WAIT A MINUTE! What if that’s the reason he was shooting at me for? He knew it was a suicide mission from the start of it, yet he still did it! However, what if it was because he had read the same diary entry that I did. On the other hand, he could have read my log? What if he overheard me talking to 1st Sgt. Nestor when I told him Kagome’s secret about what he did? Then Horatio had answered the question, “Looks like the suicidal Lieutenant read Sgt. Kagome’s diary entry about you.” “Oh crap! Then that means he must have read my log as well then!” Horatio was surprised at my outburst, and so was Fernanda, I did not see her coming from behind me, Oh Great; she is mad, Crap RUN! WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME! Oh well, another night in the lobby, unless…no, I think I might of pissed Kagome off already, what about…no, Arriana still thinks I hate her for hunting me down (even thought I don’t.). No one left, I guess… WAIT! What about Pvt. Renie? I still haven't gotten her mad yet, have I?Well, I guess I just have to check.
‘OH CRAP, INCOMING ARTILLERY! HURRY UP, GET OUR HOWITZERS FIRING, AND GET THE ‘RIMNY DE BLAZE’ MAIN GUNS FIRING, PREPARE FOR THE INVASION MEN!’ “Huh? What just happened? It must have been another bad dream…wait a minute, where am I at again? Damm what time is it anyway. CRAP, IT’S 5:30 AM! I have to get the men up for reveille! Why do I forget about…WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?” General Dawson acted as if he had seen a ghost when he ran into the ‘Café Robina’, the favorite place for Dog, Easy, and Fox Company’s C.O.s to meet and eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and if that doesn’t work for our date, then we just act funny and leave them at Tommy Vercetti’s mansion.) Now as we (Me, 2nd Lt. Richard E. Cunningham, and Capt. Johnny Angel Rojas) are enjoying our usual breakfast of hot oatmeal with a cup of decaffeinated coffee, General Dawson regained his nerves and asked us if anything happened last night, “Nothing with me sir.” Capt. Johnny answered, “Same for me General.” Richard replied, “My girlfriend Fernanda got pissed off at me just because I said ‘Crap’ in front of her, Arriana Bennett maybe pissed for going to see what was wrong with Lt. Maddie, and I think Sgt. Kagome wants me to marry her, and I can’t find Lt. Maddie.” I commented, “So, same old same old Colonel Becerra?” Jack asked, even thought he knew what my answer would have been, so I saved him some breath and said, “What do you think Jack?” Now as this was going on, all of us failed to realized a man was about to rob the Café, that was until 2nd Lt. Richard turned around and yelled out, “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!” Now that got our attention very fast. Damm, why can we never enjoy breakfast? “Now what?” Sgt. Kagome asked herself when she heard a knock at her door, expecting to see her husband, yet it was me with bad news about her husband, “I’m so sorry Sergeant, but Lieutenant…uh… you’re husband was killed by Lieutenant Colonel Arthur’s Thompson Submachine gun when he shot at me, and…” she interrupted “WHAT? WAIT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN, HE’S DEAD?” she started crying, and then she asked me something that I never thought she would say, “Armando, if you want to, you can stay with me. I’m just so lonely with no one to be with.” Damm she really does love me, I guess I can just keep her company and besides, what’s the worst that could happen anyway? Wait a minute… I’ve said that many times before and a whole lot of crap followed suit, so I’m not that stupid, yet I don’t want to have to sleep in the lobby again thought. Dammit, what can I do, what should I do? Therefore, I said, “Well, maybe I can stay just for one night.” “THANKS ARMANDO!” Wow, she is very happy about my decision and now she just fell asleep on the couch, now what? I guess I’ll just go to bed as well…
‘‘Time: 4:15 am, location: 43 degrees north, 98 degrees west. 0.25 miles south of Los Santo, San Andreas. The Skipper of the U.S.S. Winters sees no evasive action being taken in order to protect the coastline from invasion, giving the green light for Operation ‘Revenge of the Queen of Hearts’ to begin once clearance from the General is given.’’ This report came in last night as I slept soundly with a newly promoted Lieutenant who had just suffered a major lost in her life, yet made a major move when she became a lieutenant herself to replace the lost Lieutenant Inu…that’s not important right now so I’ll come back to that later. “What do I need to do today?” I constantly asked myself untill, “You need to get the new trench coats and officer’s hats ordered, and you need to get me my Alpine white trench coat and officer’s hat Armando.” Ha-ha …that’s right, I fell asleep in Serge…I mean Lieutenant Kagome’s room (the couch by myself, as usual.) “Okay, okay, okay! Just stop bugging me about that for a while and help out, would you?” I told her and then she did what she did best: helping the C.O. of Easy Company pick out a new trench coat color for the Commanding Officers of the 506th airborne division (Me, Capt. Johnny Angel Rojas, And 2nd Lt. Richard E. Cunningham.) The colors are: white marble, pine green, urban camo, midnight steel, sunset maroon, icy Bering sea blue, margarita green, and jet black are the choices; and the best choice that everyone agreed that midnight steel would be the best… why?
“What to do, oh what to do? Why, oh why is it so quiet today? Oh- hey Kagome.” I was doing nothing good except singing a little song that I made up, named ‘What to do?’.Now I remembered that I needed to do something very important: Find Lieutenant Maddie Hale of Fox Company before something bad happens to her, and I have the best in the business: The Grove Street Families. “Armando, What is it that you need us to do again?” Sweet asked me right after I told the four men (C.J., Ryder. Big Smoke and Sweet) that Lt. Madeleine Hale (or Maddie Hale) was still in Vice City, yet was unknown where she was at in the city… Great! That means I have to get the whole Company to look for her! “Whoa, whoa, whoa Colonel, remember your blood pressure can’t get real high.” Wait a minute that was not Lt. Kagome’s voice; its Lt. Maddie’s voice! Well, that is a relief for C.J., Ryder. Big Smoke and Sweet knowing that they didn’t have to keep themselves from getting killed while searching the city just for one person.
