• The night was dark, covered in thick fog. Even though the fog was thick it was storming and raining heavily, almost tearing up the ground. The ground, hard slippery cliffs, ready to kill you if you fell, In the middle of this horrible place were a prison. Made for the worst people, it rose from the cliffy island with huge gray walls and towers. The top of the wall was covered with huge spikes ready to hinder the prisoners to escape.

The huge lights made to keep an eye out for prisoners in the dark, were pointing towards one of the shores. The shore where new prisoners normally arrived, but this time no one was coming.

The light sounds of footsteps against the cliffy ground echoed through the mist.

“Jack, we have to hurry!” Two persons ran through the stormy weather, clinging to the ground, while being chased by the prison guards. They stumbled and were close to falling all the time, but they longed for freedom. Their longing pushed them against the shores. The guards were closing in on them. Their flashlights shone through the fog, nearly reaching them.

Finally, the shore was in sight, a small fishing boat by the shore shining with lights. They sprinted as fast as they could, exhausted by the escape. The huge waves hit the shore rapidly. With the thought of the risk of being flushed away they ran all the way down to the shore. They held each other’s hands, while they heard the guards screaming for them to stop, but they wouldn’t.

They ran quickly down in the ice cold water, feeling the water soaking their clothes, freezing their bodies. They slippery cliffs under the water started to drag them away from the shore away from the life. They fought with all their might to swim to the boat. A giant wave rushed over the two fleeing prisoners. Threatening to take them to the sea, they took huge breaths of air when they again reached the water surface.

“Cole, we aren’t going to make it” The younger said wimping.

Their bodies were beginning to feel numb, but the older one didn’t give up, he would get them to safety, no matter what! He used the last bit of his strength to get them to the boat. Huge hands took theirs when they reached the boat, dragging them up from the water. Huge waves made the boat sway violently. The two prisoners looked at the shore one last time. They actually fled from the prison…

“Here you go” A deep male voice said, comforting them, as he put blankets around their bodies. Warming them and leading them inside. “You will be safe, I promise”

The boat sailed through the night, leading its passengers to safety. Voices echoed through the ship, every time saying. “Who would put six year old kids in the world toughest jail?”
