• Hello, my name is Fao'Lin. I am a demon, and i'm sixteen years old.
If i'm going to tell you my story, i need to educate you about demons. THis will happen as things unfold. One thing you need to know, demons dont really have jobs, but we have things we're good at, and powers which help. For example, I happen to be a thief. Im excellent with healing spells, as well as invisibility and other stealth spells. Im pretty kickass at fighting too.
Also demons don't really die. We change. When killed, we're incarnated. We have all previous memories, so we keep improving. Humans believe we have no soul, which IS NOT TRUE. Demons are a race of being, just like humans and elves. Sadly, humans cannot get that, so they enslave us using our true names, which they determine through torture,

Theres a lot more i can tell you, but i'll leave it here and teach along the way. So, like i said, My name is Fao'lin. Demons are named after who they are. My name means Loyal Heart. You may not think its acurate later on, but it is, you'll see. This is my story.

I sat silently in the glass bottle i was imprisoned in, as far away from the revolting sides as possible. The bottle was disgusting, the demon-seller probably hadn't washed it in years. I should tell you WHY i was in a bottle, well, i was captured by a demon hunter. Hunters were the vilest people around. I had been captured several years ago, and had changed hands many times. So, i sat silently in the bottle, waiting.

I don't know how long i sat there for, but at last, i felt the bottle move and it was uncorked. I felt the odd transformation from demon to vapor, and i drifted fromt he bottle to re-form, normal size, on the earth. For the first time in a long time, i breathed in, relishing the fresh air, but then i picked up a scent iI totally recognized. I spun on my heels and i saw the one human i hated above all others: It was the hunter who had captured me, sold me to the vendor, and imprisoned me. I crouched and snarled, extending the long steel claws from the golves. Standard demon weaponry. Gotta love it.

"YOU!" I lunged at him, prepared to rake my claws across his face, when he invoked my true name. I froze, and was forced to my knees. He continued the incantation, i couldn't hear though, from the blood pounding through my ears, the fury roaring. "Thank's fore the name." The human turned to the vendor.
"What, don't remember me?" I growled, grining wickedly, hoping i could repulse him into not taking me. I felt the bonds lift, but pretended like they were still holding me down.
"Not particularly, I've caught plenty of demons."
"Well you better remember!" I lunged at him, and a claw caught him across the face. "You little b***h!" The vendor came forward with a whip. I jumped aside, laughing hysterically, my grin turning to a grimace as it caught me across my left wing. Unable to fly, i crouched low, eyes glowing.

"Fao'lin!, back into the bottle!" The vendor ordered. Thank goodness he misspronounced, i was able to srug off the bindings. I lunged forward again, my claws slashing at his throat. The other human came forward, adn with a single swift blow struck me in the back of my neck, paralyzing me momentarily. Using my name, he transported me calmly into a bottle of his own.
At least this one was washed.
