• Vampire Ruler 2
It seemed as if it were just yesterday when I first bit your neck. It wasn’t yesterday it was 10 years ago. I wasn’t even able to prove to the elders you are the prophet. The abilities you have should have proved it long ago. They still wouldn’t believe me, the old fools. They were to busy worrying about the hunter that’s appeared.
The sun was rising soon and I was on the deck that over looked the crowded city of Italy. Bulk arms began to reach out and grab me from behind. It pulled me in and it tripped.
“What are you doing?! Don’t kill your self!!” I groaned and got up to seal off the doors and windows.
“I think you were going to kill me.” He laughed at me and bared his fangs at me. The prophet just “saved my life”.
“How many times do I have to tell you, I’m you eternal servant and I can’t leave you.” There was silence.
“But the sun was rising and I panicked. I don’t want to lose you.” He was still acting like a human. Maybe that’s why that elders don’t believe me. I think his human affections are rubbing off of me. He even forced me to become a vegetarian; I couldn’t refuse.
“I felt like I just got sexually harassed by my master.” I glanced at him only to laugh at him; he laughed back.
“Maybe we should go around the hotel since we can’t go outside.” I yawned and stretched like a cat. I plummeted down onto the bed. He laughed at me some more.
    “Are you tired?” Questioned Darin
“No, just bored.” I jumped up from a shiver down my spine.
    “What’s wrong?”
“Shh…” I walked over to the door and leaned against it, I heard creaking.
“Serena, what is it?” I ran to him and grabbed his collar and jumped to the floor.
“GET DOWN!!” Silver stakes broke the wall from the other side. I heard running noises. I got up to run after him. Darin grabbed my foot.
“Wait its not safe, just look at the wall!” I looked at the wall with the sunlight poking through. My cloths started to burn and I caught on fire. I got down and started to roll. Darin got up to cover up the holes on the wall.
“Are you ok?” he looked over me and checking the burnt parts.
“I’m fine just get me some new cloths.” I groaned
“Sure, you don’t mind pink right?” He chuckled at me.
“Darin, this is so not the time for jokes! Who ever that was he was he was probably after you.” A man in a black suit ran in.
    “Are you ok?”
“I’m fine. Did you any chance see who that was?”
“We did, it was the vampire hunter. We have no idea how he got in and managed to find you. I am terribly sorry. I’ll get you a new room as soon as possible.
“And some cloths while your at it.” He nodded and left.
“Hey Serena, whose the vampire hunter?” I looked at him.
“That’s right this entire time I was training you and I completely forgot to tell you about the vampire hunter. I even forgot to tell you about the vampire laws.”
“Why don’t you start with the vampire hunter, since this guy almost killed me.”
“Alright well this was before I met you. My mother was telling me the story and it went something like this ‘That day was my first day at our society’s company. They finally trusted me enough to let me out again. I was exploring the place during my break. I went to the front desk and saw a bloody envelope on the desk. The fear in his eyes, the coughing and the sweat on his face said everything. The mail on the desk that’s dripping with blood meant he was in town. He sent the bloody mail with a vampire’s fang and a letter. The letter was sent from none other than the only vampire hunter. The letter for the elders only said “I’m coming for my son.” I heard about it before. A young vampire hunter who killed a girl; the elders played a little game with him. They set him up, the girl went along for the sake of her little boy; how foolish of her. They bit her anyways because they knew she would betray us. He had to slaughter his own wife; she told him that she was bitten by a vampire. He had no choice but to kill her. Her last words were “Get back our son and please don’t kill him if he’s a vampire…” and her body turned to ashes. Her love is what got her killed.’ At least that’s what my mother told me. I guess he’s done training himself and is ready to take back his son. Not only that I think he also wants to kill you.
“Do you know where we can find the boy?”
“I don’t know what happened to the boy. We’ll have to ask the elders.”
“Why do we always have to listen to them?” I sighed
“Well because if we didn’t listen to them we could have been killed a long time ago.”
The boy came back with some cloths. I got dressed and got ready to pay the elders a visit again. “This is your first time visiting them huh?”

    To be continued…
