• Raven slid into the 'living room/kitchen' of teen titans tower. No one really noticed, and if they did, no one cared. She walked over to the couch and coughed. Every one looked up from what they had been doing. She swallowed hard, blinking back tears. "I have... umm, important business... I have to..." she stuttered. It was very unlike her to be like this. Her usual quick and precise words were blocked by emotion. Outside something exploded from her uncontrolable emotions, but no one seemed to see or hear it. All eyes were on Raven. "I must leave the Teen Titans... I'm sorry" she said, turning away and walking out the doors. No one said anything for the longest of times. But Beast Boy was out in a flash, right after her.

Down the hall, almost to the safety of her room, Raven took some deep breathes. They began working when suddenly she heard the stomping of Beast Boy. "Raven!" He yelled as her skidded around the corner. He had obviously not expected for her to have taken so long to get there. He stopped behind her, waiting for something. It was an odd minute or so standing with her back to him. "Why... I don't understand." He said, reaching out for her shoulder. When he made contact, he was immidatly spun around and slammed against the wall. Beast Boy was taken by suprise. "Well then don't ask!" she screamed, tears running down her face.
He was taken back. He had rarely ever seen Raven cry. Ever. But as he opened his mouth to say something, she let him go and flew off down the hall in the direction of her room. Beast Boy slid down the wall and let it all sink in. This was just like with Terra. But worse. He felt like his heart had been ripped clean out of his chest.

In her room Raven prepared to leave the dimention. Where would she go? Any where. Just as long as she was far away from her friends. Everything was ready. She would leave and deffend herself from her brothers some where they couldn't hurt the Teen Titans. They'd find a replacement for her. Some one.
'This is all wrong...' she thought, packing the very few things she'd need. She felt like getting sick. But she knew that she had to be strong. As she set up for the travel, Raven couldn't stop thinking of Beast Boy. He had kissed her. Sure it had been to save her, but it didn't stop the feelings. Some where deap inside her she wanted to stay. Things could be like it had with her father. Her and Beast Boy could maybe... just maybe.
"No!" she whispered. It wouldn't work. He probably didn't feel like that. To him it was just another mission. He had Terra. She knew he hadn't completely given up on her. Even though she didn't know it, Beast Boy would check up on her almost every day. Raven had caught him once. She had to do this. For her friends. For Beast Boy. For herself.

Robin knocked on Ravens door. The knock bounced around inside her room. After no reply he knocked again. Still no answer. He opened the door and looked around. Just as he had feared, Raven was no where to be seen. Her room was still in order. Everything where it should be. The only thing missing was Raven.
Star Fire and Cyborg poked their heads in as well. They were discouraged to find her missing. "But what shall we do without Raven?" Star Fire asked, making a sort of wimpering sound. Robin did say anything. He was staring at a note. The two noticed and looked as well. It read- "I'm sorry I had to leave in such a manner. You wouldn't understand. I will come back, I promise. But it will take time. I have important things to do. Star Fire, don't forget to keep meditating. Your an amazing fighter, but your self awareness could improved. Cyborg, get out more. Your very strong and athletic. But you waste all your time on video games. Robin, you've been my best friend, and I'll miss you dearly. I hope you can replace my needed skills on the team. Don't wait for me. Beast Boy, I'm sorry. For everything. Every time I hit you, or insulted you, or even glared at you, I'm sorry for. Please forgive me. You'll find the book on my bed. Good bye, Teen titans. -Raven"
"Whatcha got there?" Beast Boy asked, standing in the door way. Every one looked at him with sad faces. He knew what was coming.

In Beast Boys room he read through the story book. Every thing of what happened was written there. There were even little pictures. There was one for the story teller, one for Raven, one for the butterfly, one for the battle on the bridge and a full page one for their kiss. But none of this mattered. He found out why she left. In the pages, it told how Raven's brother was truely the story teller.
And even more interesting was the last page. There was another note, from Raven. It read- "Keep this aquired knoledge to yourself. Our friends must never know. When I come back, I hope you will have forgiven me."

'I already have...' he thought, closing the book and setting it on the only clean shelf in his room.
