• Peach groaned in exasperation as the phone rang yet again. It was probably Mario again, calling to see what she wanted to do. "Hello?" She answered.

"Uhh... Peach? Do you... um... want to go on a walk?" A gruff voice responded.

"Bowser?" Peach found herself blushing. "Umm... Sure, I guess. Meet me in the castle gardens!" She was ready in a flash, grabbing her parasol and going into the castle gardens. She saw Bowser approaching.

After a while, while the sun was setting, Peach and Bowser were sitting on the bride, gazing at the waterfall. "Bowser... I have something to tell you..."

Bowser glanced at the princess in surprise. This princess, who usually wasn't scared to speak her mind, was staring at the water below, blushing. "What is it?"

"I-I-I... I like you..." She finally managed to spit out. "And... I always have. The thing with me and Mario... That's just an act..." She looked up at him, and he could see thoughts swirling in her big, blue eyes. Suddenly, she stretched forward, and their lips met.

Peach's eyes widened as she pulled away from him. Why did I just do that?! She screamed in her head. She glanced at Bowser and saw him smiling at her. He was smiling, not his usual evil smirk, but a genuine, loving smile. That night would've been perfect if Mario had shown up at that time.
