• Kimiko was a lonely girl. Her childhood friend moved away months ago,
and her family doesn't give her the time of day to talk.
She walked the busy streets of Tokyo and accidentally runs into a girl who appears to have dirty blonde hair and striking blue eyes.

"...U-um, sorry about that. I didn't see you there. Um, g-goodbye..." Kimiko ran off as quick as a whip.

The girl looked at her with a curious expression on her, thinking she could read her mind.
'Hmm, that girl seemed fragile and lonely, maybe I should go follow her'.
After that thought, Mizuri ran like the wind and chased after Kimiko.

    A few hours later...

"Agh! Please, leave me alone!" Kimiko shouted.

"Whoa, hold on! I'm not that scary, am I? You ran off before I could talk. You seemed sad." Mizuri explained.

"O-oh. Sorry, it's j-just that I've never had the chance to talk to a real person in a while..." Kimiko admitted.

"Really!? Not even your parents?" Mizuri questioned.

"Um, my family is always busy with work, so they never talked with me in a conversation besides one word statements and stares."

"Well, that's rough. Do you need a friend?" Mizuri smiled.

    "I-I guess so..." Kimiko said.

"I'll be your friend then." Matsuri said.

    "Really?" Kimiko questioned.

"Yep. I'm Mizuri." Mizuri brings out her hand.

Kimiko shakes it. "I-I'm Kimiko Fujimaru.

And so, a new friendship was born.
