• "Dumb emo b***h. Why havn't you killed yourself yet?" Taylen screamed into my face.
I winced at her words as tears sprung into my grey eyes. My dark hair began to stick to my cheeks, which were slowly turning red. I gripped the shoulder strap of my bag tight. My mouth felt dry.
"Why havn't you?" The word slipped out of my mouth. I didn't mean to say it.
Taylens face flushed red. She grabbed a lock of my hair and pulled me close to her.
"Because I actually have a life worth living." She spat into my face as she ripped my bag off of my shoulder and dumped the contents on the ground.
"A life of being a complete a*****e to everyone for no apparent reason? Some life."
It was Sophie. My best and only friend.
"Phie this isn't about you. Now why don't you be a good girl and go home?" Taylen said.
"No, I think I'll stay. How about you Tay? Why don't you go home."
Taylen dropped my bag into a small puddle and turned, walking away.
"Are you okay?" Sophie asked bending over to grab one of my binders off of the ground.
"Yeah." I wiped the tears from my face, smudging eyeliner across my cheek.
It began to rain. Sophie pulled the hood from her white sweater over her head and began helping me pick everything up.
