• There was once a prince who was always happy when he was still alive. When he died, his people built a statue of him. His soul lives in the statue and from there, he saw the real state of his kingdom. Every night he would cry feeling sorry for his poor people whom he ignored before.
After 10 years of his heart aches and tears, a new king reigned the kingdom and decided to destroy his statue which was made of gold and silver. The smith melted the statue but to the smith's surprise, there was one thing that wasn't melted-- a heart with a crack. whatever he did, he can't melt nor break it. He then threw it away and it fell to a child's hand.
The soul of the prince still lives in that heart and before he decided to leave the world of mortals, he whispered a spell to the air:
"This boy who held my metal heart which has a crack shall be the next king and he will change the poor state of my kingdom and will rule with just and love."
With his last words, his soul vanished and was blown away like dust in the wind.
