• Prologue

Horrid thought pulsed through my veins. Revenge was slowly biting my heart, making it ooze black blood. As I walked though the forest, I used my forsaking powers and put my thoughts into action. With each passing step my magic drained the life from everything. In a single step I could kill a songbird, the next step an innocent bunny. I walked and crossed paths with a chipmunk packing its cheeks with acorns. I stared at it and it slowly turned demon-like, with blood red eyes and foam leaking from its mouth. I watched it pathetically limp away in fear as I lifted my hand to clear the way.
I looked forward into the green life filled forest, then back at the Satanic destruction. I walked out of the trees and there in front of me stood a busy highway. I walked out into the traffic as automobiles hit the invisible walls that protected me. I kept my non-stop pace towards the town. A once beautiful lake was now a swamp, a green golf course now was dead and wilted. I looked up at the horizon, and a skyscraper stared back at me from the
    evil town of Tannervilla.
I walked down the street of Tannervilla, people saw me and ran from my sight. Each footstep broke the world to pieces. A trail of burning lava broke through Main Street. Girls screaming bloody murder on Dogwood Boulevard. Shops burst into flames. Birds swooped down upon citizens. I caused pure terror. I reached the base of the tall building. I opened the door. Security guards were blown away in a simple flick of my wrist. I stood in the middle of the building, and looked up through the mezzanine. I flew through the floors like a turbo elevator. Glass shattered as I broke through the sun roof and into the night. I slowly floated down and stood on the dome, looking at the destruction, the horror. I gave a faint smile and muttered, "Revenge, sweet revenge."
