• It was in tenth grade that my friend Crystal told me she wasn't scared easily. I knew she lying but I said nothing, after all, it is her choice if she doesn't want people knowing. A couple months passed and nothing more was really said about it.
Well, during this time, I went to a boarding school and so, in the dorms, we had our own kitchen to fix food and such. Well, Crystal was making Ramen (heck yea!) like she did every night and Tye and I were sitting in the kitchen keeping her company. Crystal had walked out and Tye got the bright idea to scare her. Now, keep in mind that it was in the middle of the night, most the girls in the dorm were asleep, and the lights were all off but the kitchen light. So of course, I said yes.
I went under the table in the kitchen so I could see partway into the hall and Tye ran down to the end, hiding behind the stairwell door nearby Crystal door. When Crystal walked out of her room and down the hallway, halfway down, Tye began to run after her. Crystal screamed and took off down the hall and I slunk back further under the table and when she came in to hide, I jumped out at her. She screamed louder and, sadly, peed herself.
It was funny, that was for sure. And besides the fact that we woke up everyone and got in trouble, Tye and I were able to have a good laugh. I am just glad Crystal still talks to me.
