• My whole body was shaking when I walked in through the gates. I just stood at the side watching everyone pass by. It was my first day of highschool. The school let the freshmen's parents in, so my mom stood beside me. I didn't need her though. I was confident enough because I knew that Niall, my bestfriend would be there too. We went to the same elementary school, and she transferred with me. So there I was, watching everyone. I noticed that each person who came by would stare at me and that fact pressured me some more.

Until finally I see her face and I was relieved. My mom left because she was already there. The bell reng not long enough and we went to the quadrangle to look for our line. We eventually found it and all together went to the classroom. That time I thought the butterflies in my stomach would finally stop. But the teacher just had to change the seating arrangement. I wasn't too far from her. We were only three seats apart from each other. I looked at my seatmate, analyzed her for a while then looked away. I wanted to ask her name but I couldn't.

Finally! The bell rang and it was break time. Me and Niall explored a little. We were like two innocent little kids. The bell rang once more, and we had to go back.

One of the teachers gave us an activity where we roam around the classroom listing names of our newly found friends in different categories. The categories were: Who do you think is pretty?Who has a pet? Who would like to become a professional one day? and Who is not born in Olongapo?(that's where we live)
The teacher gave us fifteen minutes. There I could finally ask my seatmate's name. I put her under "Who do you think is pretty?". I didn't come near any of the boys which were only eight.
But all the butterflies stopped after that activity.

I had a great time during the first day. It was lots of fun!

I enjoyed sharing my experience 3nodding
