• First Chapter...

    "I lost."

    "You what?"

"You heard me. I... lost a bet with Kaiba."

All eyes were on him, making the announcement all the more awkward, if that was even possible. When he told them that he made a bet with Kaiba they already knew that he'd probably lost, especially since he wasn't in the process of rubbing it in Kaiba's face. He hadn't even told them what the penalty was for losing yet. Not that they didn’t have an idea. 'Why of all days did Yugi have to go and invite everyone to his place for a sleepover?' Joey questioned. 'This is crazy. Now they're goin' to see too! At least before I thought Yug was goin' to be the only one, but no... Nothin’ is gonna go Joey Wheelers way at all today...'

It wasn't that they didn't know that the penalty was going to something horribly humiliating for their friend either. The fact that they found him sitting downstairs bright and early in a dog suit had given them a vague idea about what was going to happen.

"So... what was the bet Joey?" Yugi questioned sitting on the edge of the shop’s counter, wide-eyed with concern.

"It can't be too bad," Tea exclaimed, "After all, it's not like Kaiba would want to keep Joey around... ever." She was sitting on the floor by Yugi's feet, looking up at the unhappy blond.

"Yeah, spill it. What does he want? You gonna have to wash his limo while singing 'I Feel Pretty' or something?" Tristan and Duke were also sitting on the floor by Yugi's dangling feet. They were obviously starting to enjoy this... Duke especially.

"Well... I... ugh... You're gonna see." He was dreading this already. It wasn't that simple. He'd rather wash and wax Kaiba's limo while singing in his undies before doing this. At least that would take less time. "He's gonna pick me up here."

"Pick you up? You have to go somewhere with him?"

    "Yeah."

    "Where?"

"Well... just about everywhere he wants to go..." He had begun to fidget under their joint stare.

"EVERYWHERE?" All were surprised by that one.

"Yeah, you heard me. Everywhere he wants."

    "But-"

"For how long?" Tristan had cut Duke off, asking the same question.

    "...A whole day..."

    Doomsday.
