• "once apon a time..."
"No,no,no....how many stories start off with that." Elle paused.Sarah stared at her patiently, waiting for her story to begin, her large, elegant, almond shaped eyes dazzled in the sun that was glistening through the cracks of the old, worn out, ancient waterhouse they were in.
"Ok, I know now.' claimed Elle, who was pondering the beginning for 3 minuets. "Once, a long, long, time ago, everworns ancestors came, they were no different from us, resembling animals, yet with humanlike features of earth....'
"Earth?" Sarah asked, her eyebrows shot up.
"Quiet, quiet, I'm getting there!' Elle laughed, she was amused by Sarah's slight confusion. "So anyway, our ancestors took to the planet quite quickly. There was always food on the land, their crops almost immediately, and the water sparkled so clearly, you could see 20 feet below the surface. It was like paradise....' Elle trailed off into silence, as though she couldn't continue, wondering about Everworn then, and what will come."Ah.....Uhm.....Oh yes, now, one of the fairly gifted everwornians could see into the future at random, sometimes it would be short bursts of the future, and sometimes an almost endless story. So one day, she saw a terrible nightmare of a story..." Elle paused again. Sarah was now squirming uncomfortably.
nightmare of a story? Sarah was now twitching out of control her wide, orange eyes expanding with fear.
    nightmare? when?
abruptly, her confusion and fear devoured her.
"WHAT NIGHTMARE?" Sarah was like a mouse sometimes, her fear of the future consumed her often, and this was no exeption.
Elle was calm, yet happy, she laughed and always saw the glass half full.she was somewhat of a troublemaker and normaly was not surprised at many sudden happinings. But she was very startled by Sarah's sudden outburst and shot her head forward at Sarah, who normaly whispered, and hardly talked regularly, let alone yelled.
Sarah realized what she'd done and blushed.
"I-I'm sorry Elle, but um..." she whispered.
    Elle guffnawed and grinned.
"Eh...It's no big deal to me.So anyway, this gifted everwornian saw what would come to a prophecy,.She saw the night, and in a cloud, there was a clock, it said around 3 pm, but it was still pitch black.there was a valley, with black roses, purple grass, and a towering castle towering above the shady clouds. on the very top was a silhouette of a monster. A everwornian, but a monster, chanting random spell words, his hand glowing a dark crimson red. As he aimed a twitching finger on a 3 stars overlapping eachother on the ground in front of the tower, an chasm opened, revealing a red, ominous blast of light. Masked souls with rotting flesh and sharp fangs erupted out of the ground all together.'
Elle grimaced. "the souls of the hated and the evil.Cursed to have a hunger for other people's essance. The prophecy states the everwornian was to horrified to continue, but she did say an everwornian and 2 warrior companions would come to try to save us, there is a good and bad ending to the prophecy. In the good ending, the warrior and his friends accomplish the war at the cost of one of his allies and sudden outbreak of sorrow, and the other, he fails and...'
Sarah was getting annoyed by the sudden pauses, but kept another outburst to herself.
"he fails and....?" she questioned politeley
"The entire planet of everworn is doomed to the lord of nightmares and the one thousand year night."
