• What is it like to be in a place where no one wants you?

No one loves you, no one talks to you, and no one helps you; does it feel lonesome? What about when you find someone that does love you for who you are? Is their love true? Or is it a ploy to them to gain something in turn; money, enjoyment, sexual pleasure?

In a place where no one loves you, what thoughts creep into your mind? Paranoia, insanity, anger, sorrow; what do you feel when you are alone? Reduced to nothing but a faint spirit ignored in the public eye? Or treated as such as a parasite, or a pest? What would you do?

There are several options for a person that doesn’t belong.

They could rebel against the public; become a monster in their eyes and destroy everything to them that is important. But, as such as a monster, the end shall be the same as the beginning; loneliness and sorrow are the only mourners at the funeral.

They could blend in with the crowd that hates them. But this is a silly option; all attempts are either ignored, or are taken as offence.

They could take their lives into their own hands, and kill themselves. Execute the life they detest and go on to unknown portals. But yet, wouldn’t this mean that the one that has taken their life hates their own soul in turn? Does this mean that you are a part of the city that hates you, and has done something that they in turn wish to do themselves? Does this mean that you fulfilled their wish?

Then, there is the option of moving on. To walk out of the world that hates, and to travel along the universe until a world of loving people is found, and enjoyed.

Who knows what cities are there? Who knows how long it takes until you find the city that loves you? Who knows when it will get better?

The only one to find that out, is yourself.
