Nothing But Sound

If you hear a quiet whisper,
Do you answer in return?
Or do you forget,
The quiet whispers,
Whose secrets you will never learn?

If you hear a child crying,
Do you sing so it can sleep?
Or do you forget,
The child crying,
Even though the child still weeps?

If you hear a voice that mutters,
Do you see whom it may be?
Or do you forget,
The voice that mutters,
Thinking there is no one to see?

And if you hear me at your window,
Do you stand to see me there?
Or do you forget me,
At your window,
So I will then disappear...

I'm not going to rate you based on that though.
I'm giving you 4/5 because some of the lines seem misplaced.
