• Poetry, Empathy, Remember 09/22/07
    By Devin Kruljac Truessence

The purest and truest form of poetry is,
    Spoken without words,
    Seen without eyes,
    Heard without ears,
    Tasted without tongues,
    Felt without touch.

The purest and truest form of poetry is,
    Within and without us all,
    Residing and resonating through all,
It is the spirits, the hearts, the minds of all,
Of which only pure and true poetry can be sensed and expressed.

    Reach within one self,
    Do not try to understand,
    Let the understanding try you,
    Can you sense it?

    That spark in your mind,
    That glimmer in your heart,
    That life in your soul?

    Connect to others with this,
    Empathy,
Poetry’s one and only true understanding,
    Empathy,
How we speak, see, hear, taste, and feel without any of the external senses,
    Empathy,
    Let it understand you,
Breathe and awaken to a sleep of luminous infinity.

    Pure and true poetry,
    Can only be shared,
    Through empathy.

    Speak it,
    See it,
    Hear it,
    Taste it,
    Feel it,
    Sense it.

    Let it understand you.

Now let go and hold on,
    Remember.

    Just remember.
