We never got along too well
That was made very clear
But even as we stared each other down
You smiled from ear to ear
I'd meet your smile with eyes and watched your lips
On your face just as clear
And I just stared back thinking
Such a lovely smile, ear to ear
Years went by and we grew no closer
Still glanced at each other with leer
But when I turned you did not see
I then smiled, from ear to ear
We grew up and became adults
But childish tendencies plagued our fears
And when you looked at me last
I saw you stole that smile of mine back, from ear to ear
For I did not smile back
As I knew what was forth near
And I just let my face go limp
And didn't try to smile, from ear to ear
And now I watch you bleed on winding sheets
And hold a gleaming knife, upon my face a sneer
You will have your smile forevermore
As I've cut you from ear to ******** ear.

- Ahaha this just wouldn't be as good as it is without the Reference Image putting it in prospective for everyone. A gorgeous piece, I commend you.

- Whoah. That was an unexpected ending. I like that this poem uses description - always a good thing. And it has a refrain (repeated line) at the end of each stanza, which suggusts you actually thought about the form. And, as I mentioned, that was quite an interesting ending. I'll give four stars.
