• I suppose the relationship has finally crashed among the reefs. It took a while, but seasickness got the best of this captain and took a turn for the worse. Life was restless out in the sea of commitment. The crew begged for the captain to commit treason, but instead, the captain jumped ship just in time to watch it crash in the jagged reef of trust. The water smothered this captain during the swim to shore. Thinking back, it was the captain's idea to leave the town of Single and try for the island of Love. Sailing was smooth when looking on record, but the last few months might have been the calm before the storm. The first mate's trust in the captain was weak, though this captain hadn't noticed until it was too late, and it sank with the ship. Very little of it was salvaged. Now walking among shore, kicking the sands of time and the shells of memory out of the way, the captain ponders....how much is left of the crew at this point? Is there any way of going back and rebuilding? There were no SOS signals sent out, but had there been, would that have changed the situation? The captain walks back to the town of Single to try again. Defeated, lost, and drowning in the foam of memory the sea left behind, the captain wanders into the pub to drink the image out and drink in potential prospects. And though it hurts, the captain is willing to set sail again one day....just as soon as the current storm passes and it's safe once more. And never looking back to find the first mate.
