• Description: This is a poem I wrote last year during study hall. It's probably the best one I've done, and I think it's pretty good for a beginer. I know its sappy, deal with it. I don't really have a title for it yet, but if you think of a good one please tell me.
  Its dedicated to a friend of mine.

Join the club
You thought you were in love
But from the very start
He planned to break your heart

You thought that it would last
But then it ended fast
Cause he was just a jerk
That’s why it didn’t work

He was perfect wasn’t he?
It’s time to face the truth honey
He really was no good
You’ve cried way more than you should

He was nothing but a fake
I know it’s hard for you to take
But now it’s time for you to move on
Cause if you don’t then he’ll have won

I’ll always be right here
So don’t even shed a tear
But even if you do
I’ll be standing right by you

We’ve been friends since the very start
And friends can mend a broken heart
The pain you feel will never last
So get out there and have a blast

You deserve so much more
So pick your heart up off the floor
Cause I’ll be standing next to you
With some chocolate and some glue

Not original but still sounds good with a very smooth rhyme. I adore it! And as for the title try "Sad Mistake".
