• Description: This is a poem for those who have slipped into the darkness and were looking for someone to help fight it. For those who know what I mean, we kept asking that someone, "Are you there?" because we can't fight it alone. We need someone by our side. I found my someone in Jesus Christ and here's the poem about how I felt before I found my someone.

The darkness creeps around me.

Silence my binds me.

Fear strikes my heart,
Are you there?
Like a board and a dart
Are you there?
As I think I might,
Are you there?
Regain my once lost sight,
Are you there?
Uknown laughter puts me in a scare.
Are you there?
And on my neck, stands my hair.
Are you there?
And I ask,
Are you there?
