• The morning nags at me,
    Its constant light wakes me
    It floods into my room
From an open window near by
Where a bird sings its songs
In the dewy tree stretching its limbs lazily
And a soft wind gently paws at the curtains
Under the comfort of my blanket I hide
Time after time they try to pry me from my sleep
    And like a hibernating bear,
I stay curled up in the comfort of my dreams
Til this voice forces me awake
I turn over to show I'm really getting up this time
And find myself minutes later falling back to sleep
