Fate loves the fearless,
So why did fate chose me?
[door opens, footsteps]
"You're one one of the lucky ones." he says to me.
"Your fate is all your own.
No one can take it, can re shape it.
You can't escape this fate, not matter which road you take.
This fate is all your own."
[footsteps, door closes]
What could he mean by that?
Did he not know my life?
Poked and prodded, pleading desperately.
Someone save me from these places;
From these rooms, from these walls.
White walls
White lights
Someone save me, here tonight....
[door opens, footsteps]
"I will rescue you." he says to me.
"Fate has chosen you, your fate has also chosen me.
I don't know when we'll leave but trust me someday soon we will."
He attends my wounds, wipes the pain from my face.
[footsteps, door closes]
Hope, sweet hope,
You have returned into my life.
The prospect alone of leaving is enough,
Even if leaving is not something I may ever get to do.
[door opens, new footsteps]
"That boy is gone" one of them says to me.
"I heard he was messing with you..." another whispers pitifully.
Cold hands, they don't care about my pain.
[harsh footsteps, door closes]
What kind of joke is this?
I am not fearless, my fears are many.
My greatest is made real.
Hope is lost, days go by.
None of these hands help.
They prod, poke, they stare and sneer.
As if I should be grateful, as if they bitterly wish they were me.
Oh, how I would trade places with them for they can run away.
Wait...
Is that his face?
Outside my door...
It is, oh fate, how could I doubt?
If I could touch him through this door
I'd hold him tight, never let him go...
A note, below the door...
I WILL SAVE YOU, then he was gone.
I look to the camera..
What trouble will my fate get us in now?
Is it worth asking of the unchangeable?
