He puts his gun to the head
She quivers
He looks in her eyes
She can't bear he will die
His heart bleeds with fear
She struggles not to cry
The moment is near
But then she acts so brave
And takes the gun away.
He's standing there
Shaking his head
She holds him close
And whispers "we're dead"
Under the moonlight
Surrounded by trees
They stood so still
So silent
Love is so cruel
So violent

- This poem could be good. But it has no pattern and the words are too simple for the subject. Anyone could write this, and punctuation could really help the poem along.
