• The sun disappears over the horizon.
    Behold, the darkness around you
    Look upward into the sky
    Tell me what you see.

    The stars, the darkness
The infinite capacity of the universe!
    How wonderous is it's glory
The tapestry of the starry night

    A tapestry of marvelous splendor
Woven by the hand of God
    And severed from light
    On the first day.

    With stars scattered all around
    The tapestry envelopes the earth
Like a blanket on a sleeping child
And lets the sleepless make order of them.

The images man makes of the stars,
Those miniature carbuncles in the sky,
How they tell the tales of ancient legends
And aid those with nightless eyes.

Such mysteries it carries with it.
    When one looks closer
A dancing star or man-made craft
may be caught in one mesmerized eye.

Oh how the night carries with it
    A dark and cursed name
But also sewn is a legacy that
    Predates the earth itself.
