The starlight falls, in silver shawls
on the dark land cold and hard.
The eagle's cry, from up on high
echoes in canyons deep.
The moon's bright shine, it's light divine
reflects off seas so large and blue.
The wind's soft blow, flurried with snow
through pine trees tall and grim.
The mountain's shadow, upon the meadow
with flowers many-hued.
On mountains steep, the snow falls deep
blanketing in frosty cold.
Spring comes again, in plain and fen
to wash away the bitter snow.
Her spirit soars, as the rain pours
for Nature' s sorrows gone.
