• A lonely wolf runs without a pack,
    She sings alone,
and the her dreams are dark,
as she sleeps alone in the cold and dark.

A lonely wolf hunts without a pack
She runs through the forest all on her own
and she growls in her sleep,
for she does not have her pack.

    Another lonely soul finds her in the night, and asks;
    Why do run alone, pack-sister?
    Why do you sing alone?
    Why do you hunt alone?

She answers soflty in the night,
    I have no pack, pack-brother,
no one to run with, no one to hunt with,
    no one to sing with.

Then I will be your pack, pack-sister.
    You will run alone,
    hunt alone,
    sing alone no more.

Two lonely souls joined as one
in the deepening darkness af the night.
    A pack of two,
    running through the night.

Why do you join me, pack-brother?
Are you just another lonely wolf, running through the night?
Do you run alone, hunt alone,
    sing alone, in the night?

I am all alone pack sister, I have no pack.
    I have sought for long
    another lonely soul
to run with through the night.

Then I will join with you, pack-brother
and there will be no you or I,
    for we are pack, pack-brother
    and pack is never alone.

Two lonely souls joined as one in the darkness of the night.
They are pack, and pack does not run alone.
They sing as one, a joyful sound,
for pack does not sing alone.

Two wolves run as a pack.
They are pack, and all they need.
The pack is strong, if strong inside,
and these two lonely souls will never again run alone`.
