• A girl of 17 sits all alone
    Gripping her black cell phone

Waiting for a call that will never come
    As her body becomes numb

She wishes each day that she were dead
Imagining it all in her head

    Every day her life descends
Until it reaches the very end

Though if it wasn’t for her friend Night
Her future wouldn’t be so bright

He tries his hardest to keep her alive
So in the end she can survive

Even though he knows, it will never work
Without her, he would probably go berserk

Eventually she is tired of being alone
Wishing that she was back home

Instead of waiting, she starts to stand
And begins to stretch out her hand

She knows her life is never going to get any better
Something as useless as an old letter

As she walks, she begins to see
In her path the most beautiful banshee

At first, she thinks that it can’t be true
How something like this can come out of the blue

But soon after, she doesn’t care
Because she knows that she soon wont be their

As night walks up, he begins to ask. “What are you staring at?”
Luna looks at him and points. ”A banshee in the distance by that cat.”

Night shakes his head. “Luna do you always have to think of death.”
“Would you rather have me think of Macbeth?”

“Anything as long as it doesn’t involve that.
Luna stares at him. “Well you are as encouraging as a rat.”

“Why do you want to be dead?”
She turns back towards the banshee. ”It’s better then what’s ahead.”

Night gets annoyed. ”So you would just give everything away”
Luna becomes quiet. ”At least then I wouldn’t have to face another day”

Night turns Luna around so she faces him
“Your life doesn’t have to be so grim.

Luna tries to look away. “If only that were true.”
Night stops her. “You could always start your life anew.”

“I don’t know if that would ever work.”
He begins to smile. ”At least their would be one perk.”

Luna becomes confused. “And what would that perk be?”
“You would still be with me”

Luna walks backwards. “I’m not so sure it’s right.”
“But then your life would be alright”

    Luna soon ponders this question
And begins to make a confession

    All along, she was wrong
And now she knew where she belonged.

But as they, both begin to walk away
A car in the distance begins to sway

It went off the road and strait into Luna
And she ended up as flat as a tuna

Night started to call out her name
Thinking that he was the one to blame

But as she begin to bled
    She had finally become dead.
