Darkness surrounds me.
No one around me,
To keep me from my fears,
I'm unprotected
I'm lying here,
Alone in fear

I'm unprotected,
Alone in the dark
No veil of light To hide me
No bright white knight To guard me
No shining angel to guide me.

Darkness surrounds me,
Creeping into me dreams
Creating nightmares just for me
Just to here my screams
I'm lying here,
Alone in fear

No one around,
I'm lost, not found
Alone again
Longing for light,
To escape the night,
Darkness surrounds me
Light has left me

I'm unprotected
Surrounded by my fears,
People watching
People laughing
Just to see my tears

Darkness took me
Darkness hates me
I am Alone in the Dark

Fantastic!!!
Repition is awesome and used well and at a good amount. Everything is consice and doesn't move away from the topic. The emotion is great and it even gave me a creepy feeling in my stomach as I was reading it.

True, but i wasn't entirely trying to get sad. It was just something I started writing, I can really say why or where the idea came from, when I was done, this was the result. But thank you for the comment.

Not everything has to be depressing. There are a lot of other ways to say "I'm sad" than using the word "darkness" and the word "consume". Originality is hard to accomplish, I know. Also, rhyme scheme sounds forced
