I followed you, looked up to you.
yet you ignored me through and through.

but now we'll be together.
together forever.

my brother, my lover.


I ran from you, covered in their blood.
and you followed, no rush in you're step

I screamed, I cried, and I begged for my life
when you caught up, and pressed to my neck your knife.

"You're not worth it", you said as you left me alone,
alone, in the place we once called home.

my brother, my lover.

I fought for you, killed for you, grew stronger. All for you!
And I left my friends for you, to find you.

my brother, my lover.

then I found you here,
and now we stare.

No emotion in your eyes or mine
or blades were all that would shine.

I held my knife to your neck
A mockery of what you did way back.

my brother, my lover.

but there was no fear, no begging for life,
only a look, that told me you knew.

I couldn't kill you here.
not like this.

I pulled away and you called me a coward,

I pushed my blade into your gut,
but you pushed yours in mine as well, and in pain my eyes shut.

We fell to our knees,
but we begged no pleas.

we feel to the ground,
with no pained sound.

This time, this time I did not scream, nor cry, or beg for my life.
side by side, we will die together, my brother ... my lover.

I give it a 5/5 cuz I can relate to the feeling... I can't relate to the killing but the feeling yor trying to bring across.

This is pretty good... but I'm sorry I didn't think it deserved a 5/5. I'm not going to repeat the constant incest comments you're getting, just get to what I think. It was good, but poetry, at least a lot of what I see, uses a lot of simile's and metaphors, giving detail to the feel rather than the action. It's like a TV show. Some shows you see, you watch, and it happens. But the shows that really last make you really feel for the characters. Good job, keep trying.
