But to my surprise you are still here.
But the times have grown darker within the past year.
And I'm afraid we are growing apart.

But i can't make you stay.

All the times that we've had together I'll always remember.
Like the year you went to prom with me.
My grandmother died there after.
You were there to comfort me when she was sick and when she passed.

But I can't make you stay.

All the times that i've been heart broken.
When I was afraid.
Down and out.
You were always there.

But I still can't make you stay.

All the tears, the pain, the horrors of my life and yours.
You always said you'd be there.
You said that you'd always make things better.
All the things you said, you promised, you inquired.

But I couldn't make you stay.

dont fell bad i have lost a lot of people in my life so i can empathize with u but hold ur head up high and nothing can stop u let out all the tears and still b the head held high girl!!!
