• She wants to fly from all her fears
but she is tied down by all her tears,
    wings bound in heavy chains
salt water burning on her wings
    Tearing, ripping, burning apart
    blackening rapidly like her heart
    fears ruining her only hope
Her once white wings now black as soot.
Her life is falling into a pit
the dark surrounding now a perfect fit
pitch black wings blending right in
her only hope just died from her.
