We search our entire life for that one good friend,
Once we find them, we tell them our deep and darkest secrets,
While everyone ignores and pays no attention to you,
A helping hand comes and helps you,


That person helps you out in good and bad times,
You couldn't be more of a good match as friends,
Their families consider you as one of thier own,


Then one day,
Out of the blue,
For no apparent reason,

Your best friend in the whole world,
Doesn't want anything to do with you,

You try to figure out why, but you can't think of a reason,
You have to deal with the pain,
The feeling of dispair hits you,


You hide your broken heart from the world,
You cannot take the pain, so you lose control,
Self destruction is the only way out of the pain,
Laying alone, 6 ft. under ground,

Still wondering.........."What if?"
