She is the maiden of Winter
Her touch like piercing splinters
Through your skin
A blazing sun soldier
His sword leaving smolders
In its wake
Though it may be a paradox
The flame loved the ice
Meeting at each equinox
To which, each soul entice
The problem was dire
The maiden began to melt
And, so dim was his fire
Such pain they felt
'Twas on their deathbed
With a kiss so sublime
Which they lay their head
For the very last time
And from their death
Rose new children of life
Taking in their first breath
The fruits of old strife
So sweet and calm, Spring
The calm, yet firm Fall
When flowers bloomed, the joy they'd bring
And as their petals fell, he would carry their haul
These two stood, hand in hand
Any force they would withstand
Two spirits, as if reborn
Now walk with no need to mourn~
