    This fairy tale made for you and me.

    There is a story so true...

    Her life had always been a storybook,
    Open for all to read.
    Every chapter with a happy ending,
    Never with a bitter seed.
    One day this girl read a chapter on a friend,
    And found herself so glad.
    But she was so unprepared,
    For an ending that was too sad.
    She watched the friendship fade,
    Watched the would be heroine run away.
    The story came to a bitter end,
    Leaving only another empty page.
    This little girl closed her story book,
    Disappointed and afraid.
    It was supposed to be a happy tale,
    So why did it end this way?
    She felt her last tear fall
    Like crystal onto the cover
    And lifted her eyes to the moon,
    curious and devasted all over.
    She could see that it all ended too fast,
    That there was nothing else she could do.
    Try as she might,
    She couldn’t change the past.
    So she left the book on the sand
    And walked away with her head down.
    So many questions,
    So few answers.
    No friendship left
    With which to care for.

    This is a loss
    that never should have come to be.
    Is there no happy ending
    For a sad girl like me?
