From the day of my own birth,
You’ve looked at me with love in your eyes,
And held me with passion in your heart.
You’ve aged since the days of my smile,
But you still glow with motherly warmth in my eyes.
When I cooed, when I laughed, when I smiled,
It was all to see your face shine with happiness.
There was never a sight better,
Than that of your joy. Your smile I have always
Kept in my heart, even to this day.
You’ve taught me much of life and love.
And for this my tears flow in happiness
Of your heartfelt words.
Your voice resonates in my head and my heart,
Making my eyes swell with joy.
For your happiness, I would strive to no end.
And for your love I would fight.
For your motherly passion I would kill.
For your laughter I would fast anything.
For your smile I would die.
You mother, are the foundation of
My life, my love, and my soul itself.
I have few accomplishments,
However one thing I am proud to say is:
You are my mother, and I love you.
