Silently I cry as we lay your deams to rest,
So unfullfilled- so lifeless.
Vibrant rays that no longer shine in your smile.
So dull and blank,
Pools of ever changing blues.
Violently I pounded on the door of your undoing,
Yelling for you to not give up- to not give in.
Violently I wrenched you into my arms away from the pain,
But sadly I was to late as your last breath fades.
I start to cry harder as we lay you to final rest,
So silent- so lifeless.
