• I wrote it on the bathroom wall
The pen and ink my pride and call
The whole world knows my name
The truth of my own private shame
I dig the letters for the wear
And people don't pretend to care
The truth I am so scared to speak
Will now be mocked within the week
And then there are the ones that try
To listen to my plight, but why?
They'll never even see my face
    Just walls inside this place
And so I write these letters deep
Beg the lord, my words to keep
For it's my life, my very all
I write it on the bathroom wall
