What If I Was A Mother;
Who Nuzzled My Child's Nose;
Who Tickled My Child's Toes.
What If We Bought A Cow;
And My Husband Had A Field To Plow?
And What If Our Neighbors Where Kind;
Cooked Dinner For Us Every Night?
And What If We Cooked For Them?
A Frothy Pot Of Soup For Our Neighbor Kim!
And What If My Child Helped Take Care Of The Cow?
And My Husband, In The Field He Would Plow.
Neighbors Cooked For Each Other;
Neighbors Acted As Siblings;
Caring, Fighting And Sharing, Like Sister Or Brother.
Oh, For Such A Wonderful Life I'd Pay;
I'd Pay For That Life Any Day.

That's really nifty!
It reminded me of Shel Silerstine.
Love the rhyme scheme and the whimsy of the poem. - Report As Spam
