I don't really know what these words are supposed to say.
I don't really know what they mean,
But you listen, and you smile.
So I'll say them until I scream.

I'm beginning to think that these words might mean something,
This feeling that knots up in my chest.
Your eyes look so beautiful,
And I'm forgetting all the rest.

I don't understand why tears are rolling down your cheek,
So I move to catch one of them.
Shudder before you collapse,
And I wish we were more than friends.
