Tonight is filled with rage
Souls are fleeing from this age
People are being fired with a smile
With this economic downward spiral
To me this is all insanity
We are killing all of humanity
What has this world come to?

Someone beyond space
Sees our dying race
To them we are mice not man
Trying to escape the crisis at hand
There is a tempest on the rise
The apocalypse, no surprise
What has this world come to?

This poem is true. Aside from the part about somebody in space looking down on us, well, maybe. We may never know
