• Faces around me
    all one of the same.
    they all speak of hurt,
    they all show some pain.

    The people on the street,
the ones at their nice jobs,
    They're all the same
    they all have been robbed.

    Robbed of their time,
    limited on this Earth,
    and robbed of their chances
    to show what they're worth.

    All have their secrets,
    all have their lies
    we all have our pains
and our fear that never dies.

    Third world country?
    On top of the globe?
    Do you think it matters,
    where our stories unfold?

    The black and the white,
    the rich and the poor
    all of us are people
and all of us are unsure.

    We're all the same
when it comes down to it
    We're all equal
    when the lamp is unlit.

At the end of our time,
when the hourglass has run down,
    do you think it matters,
who lived in the rich part of town?

    The children in Africa,
    that die on the street,
    the suffering victims,
    surrounded by deceit,

    They are the same
    as you and I
    we both can bleed
    we both can cry.

    So when you look around
    and see someone new
    someone that's different
    from me and you

    Just always remember,
    always keep in mind
    that we're all the same
    because we're all
    mankind.
