• The day before the evening storm,
The water of the calm creek stood still.
Sun light peeked through the trees,
Reflecting crystals of light on top of the water.
Big rocks, little rocks scattered with green moss
    Protruding above the water.
Tadpoles swim along the shady, shallows edge.
    Thunder rumbles in the background.
    Now the clouds are here,
Like a blanket they cover the Sun.
Bringing rain drops to dance on the water.
    The creek begins to flow
    No longer still and shallow.
