  I wrote this late one night.It started out as a poem but now it's a song.It's about a guy who loved a girl but she broke up with him for another guy because the second guy has lots of money and that's all she was after.

Was told someday my dreams would come true
but I know it ain't so cause my wish was you.
Threw away all my money in a wishing well.
Love shines like Heaven and burns like Hell.

It seems like these things always turn out wrong
but I guess I knew it all along.
I see that today's not my day.
You had the whole world and threw it all away.

Now you've left me for a guy with big money
and left my heart feeling kind of funny.
I can tell how fake you are by how far you fell.
It looks like everybody's got a sould to sell.

So don't try to explain your choice to me
if this is the way it's going to be.
You use a lot of words but don't say a thing.
The world seems like it's hanging from a broken string.


Go back and tell your man
he can buy you if he can
but that a man!

ohhh yeah.
