Insanity ridden to the core,
Somehow I thirst for more and more.
And as I sit, delirious, in this cell,
I call home,
Listening to the smooth-tonged creaks
Whispered by the door,
The shimmering dew,
each drop dipping itself unwillingly
in all the others fallen before
in the same way.
Then it occurred to me.
Why,yes!It was all so simple!
The once glorious garden,
Now seeped with decay
...
It happened faster than a lightning bolt
cutting through the August sky,
On a peaceful,quiet night.
The garden woke up,and filled itself with life
The trees unfolded their olive leaves once more,
The grass grew and grew,
The flowers blossomed as much as they could,
The birds sang and sang,
The nearby river unfroze and once again
The baby blue water replaced the
Cold, White and unpleasant, you
Could even say "dead" river.
The fish happily jumped in and out of the water,
As they always knew that this day would come.
Some people would say
"Ah, This is a description of Paradise."
No.
I could not stand
The pink colored clouds and honey filled chuckles.
This "Paradise" had to end.
Once upon a time a witch who looked just like me,
for some odd reason, heard of this garden of happiness
And without any haste she took her wand and broom,
Flew into the sky, only lighted by the moon
And with no regrets burned it all down to the ground.
Her hate was famed throughout the world.
"The witch who destroyed Paradise..."
Some say she did it only to quench her thirst for blood and screams.
Others say she was sent by Satan to ruin the only hope
Of human kind to find peace.
I say that they're all wrong.
I say that she did a wondrous job.
That place...
No.That wasn't heaven.
It couldn't be.
That dream kept great evil inside.
It was all too tempting,
But these silly humans do not even pay attencion
To the thought that all this beauty,
All this love and tranquility
Could be ruined...
No.
Will be ruined by humanity's greed.
This Paradise
Had to be kept away from the human race.
Only the purest heart can understand this
Danger the garden holds.
I wield no magic powers.
I have no strength that can lift a building.
But I do have one thing that exceeds
And can defeat the vile and disgusting monster.
Insanity.
No,I cannot say that's "fighting fire with fire".
Now that the wretched demonic part of the world
Has returned to the planet,
I must go and make history repeat itself.
I understand this act of courage is life-threatening
But I cannot just sit here and do nothing.
They all compare me to the witch who once
Cleared the evil from this life.
They taunt me about the burning
As if I were to blame.
I clear them from my conscious
With the eloquence of my blade.
I annihilate what threatens to get in my way.
I arrive at the garden,
Only to find
The blissful creatures
Once laying about,
Now stand in front of the gate
Blocking the path to the core.
Ready to attack, they growl at every look
I throw them.
Getting fed up with this game
I confuse them with my small talk
And run along the path.
But my luck ran out as the creatures followed.
Finally.
The core.
Only one action is needed to end the nightmare.
Just one good throw of the kitchen knife.
And once again all in a flash
Just as it came,
The same way it went away.
It happened faster than a lightning bolt
cutting through the August sky,
On a peaceful,quiet night.
The monsters disappeared.
The trees turned gray.
The grass returned to the ground, taking the water of the ground with it
Now the damp soil was replaced by dry, fissured land.
The flowers became putrid.
The birds died out with the last song on their beaks.
The river shock and once more redeemed it's previous state-
A cold, white, unpleasant and dead part of the land.
The fish also died, giving the river a nasty stench.
The world was saved.
Victoriously skipping through the new garden,
I returned to home.
This cell I call home.
Insanity ridden to the core,
Somehow I thirst for more and more.
The reason I told you this, my dear friend
Is simply because the meaning of life
Is way too horrid
And if ever found out
Should be forgotten immediately.
The "witch" also found the meaning.
She then "burned" it from her conscious.
I,when finding the meaning,
And also knowing what the "witch" did before me
Knew that I had to follow her steps.
"And so they lived happily ever after..."
