• Who am I you ask?
    I am the guardian
    The guardian of all creatures
    And their home
    Guardian of the sky
    Guardian of the forest
    Guardian of the water
Truly I am the guardian of nature
    For I am nature
    The ocean is my skin
The poles are my cheeks that have been frozen in the cold arctic air
The trees are my hair blowing the wind
Rivers and streams are my tears that flow down my face forever
While lakes and ponds are my tear drops that are left behind
    Clouds carry away my tears
    The skies are my eyes
    The mountains are my arms
    Who am I?
    I am the protector
    Of the natural world
    I watch over the animals
    I watch over the plants
    I watch over the humans
    For I am the caretaker
I feed all of the creatures
    I give them water
I give them all that they need
For I am the mother of all
The mother of animals and plants
    The mother of humans
    The mother of all creatures
    Who am I?
    I am the timekeeper
I am as old as this planet itself
    I’ve seen the past
    I see the present
    I will see the future
    For I see everything
    I see the light
    I see the dark
I see everything and been everywhere on this planet
    Who am I?
    I am ill
All is suffering because of my health
No thanks to some of my children
I can’t do as much as use to
    I am nearly dead
But still holding on tightly to life
    For I am fighting
    Fighting for all my children
But I can’t do it myself
I need my children to help if I am going to make it
But some refuse to help me
    They think it’s too hard
    Who am I?
    I am nearly everything
But I am not a lost cause
    For I am a fighter
    For I see everything
For I am the time keeper
For I am mother of all
For I am protector of the natural world
For I am guardian of all
    For I am nature
For I am the one and only
    Mother Nature
