• Day after day I watch them pass by
    Small changes occur every time
    Age, exhaustion, happiness, depression…
I sigh sadly as I press cold hands against glass
I watch as I walk into the room
    Eyes a fading blue
    “Another day,” I say
    Another day.
    I stare dazedly
As I lean against the wall
My head leans back, dark hair spills over
    Eyes shut against the world
    No emotion.
With a sudden burst of rage, I bang against the mirror; my hell
The glass cracks, intricate lines of silver
    Our emotion bottled up inside
I am trapped, raw emotions, I am just a reflection
